Old habits if I had to guess, the real question is why does it bother you so much? It doesn't "bother" me, I was just wondering if there was some context I missed given that you posted it in a forum focussed on discussing crafting. Amusing article though Erho and I are separate persons I was merely speculating about possible reasons

I really like the idea but I think it would have looked slightly better with the yellow less dominant as it would have sold the idea of glow in coal/lava better.

I use armypainter clear matt spray, it does how ever slightly dull the colours.
I seen people alternate layers of gloss and matt for a stronger protection, and also (when applied selectively) to "undull" metals.
Just remember to always spray/dip a test piece first, there is no undo button when the cheap product your testing turns out to tint the mini with an opaque yellow or the like.

Yeah the MT012 was exactly what I was looking for - sadly it's no longer being sold. Guess I'll try combining some plywood and circular saw and see what happens

I was searching for some kind of collapsible crafting station, and I can't seem to find any for purchase, but before I start destroying tools and materials in an attempt to create one for myself I figured if any of you knew of a commercially available solution. Here is a drawing of my vision presented in glorious mouse pained "3d" vision; So basically a cabinet where the "doors" are deep enough for hold brushes, etc - and a fold down flap were you don't need to worry too much about getting pain on. considering the elaborate paint and brush holders being sold commercially I find it hard to believe that I'm the first to come up with this idea, which properly means I seen it somewhere, forgotten it and now think it's my own idea.. so where to buy?

Okay, how the heck are you getting that effect? Because that's some seriously cool stuff! The reaper figure starts off as being a transparent pink/purple plastic - from there I imagine he dry brushed in colours.

Creative commons is the easiest of licenses, it's written so artists with no legal background can understand it. creativecommons.org/share-your-work/licensing-types-examples/creativecommons.org/licenses/#licensestldr; you compose the licenses from [by,sa,nc,nd] by - you must attribute the creator sa - you must share modified works under the same license nc - no commericial usage nd - you cannot modifiy the creation CC-BY-NC-ND is the most restricive you can - you allow other to freely copy and distribute the work provided they attribute it's creation to you and do not charge for or modify the work. CC-BY - the most permissive do what every you like as long as you credit. But with out knowing the string of letters you attached there isn't much we can tell you

You are of course free to disagree with me, but I feel that I should point out that I wrote Schleich not Safari . Their dragons retails for ~330 DKK ( about 45$ ). Don't get me wrong it's very large "Mini" and solid durable construction that will stand up to all but the most extreme torture - but I sense that's now what the OP was going for

If you don't want to go with a recolour of a "evil" dragon ( reaper bones, ashardalon, etc ) then I think your best bet may be the toy marked. Schleich does a range of dragons - but they are every bit as expensive as "proper" minis, though the tend to look less evil. I would just head down to the local toy store and browse. edit: or maybe this? www.amazon.com/Mojo-Fun-Golden-Dragon/dp/B01NASND5U/

Reaper have a number of ogres in their bones series; www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Ogreofcourse "cheap" is a relative figure - but outside of finding some cheap chinese plastic toys ala army men I think this may be the cheapest option

You should grab a roll of adhesive vinyl and cover the table before the inevitable spills ruins it - also how are peoples crafting tables so neat, mine are always a complete mess a couple of minutes after I start any project.

I like the middle one, the other two are a bit too plain for my taste. ( but then I've yet to paint my bears because I'm still terrible at painting fur xD )

I Saw a YouTube video of some one using bristles from cheap wide paint brushes (the ones for house paint) might be worth a try
