I usually just reapply more cardboard to the roof and slather in modgepodge.
But to the original post, which Im surprised didnt get any responses;
The tiles all make grinding gear noises when engaged, nothing really happens as its just a deterrent(or faulty ancient mechanics just dont work anymore) IF you're a DM doing it right, the player will spend inordinate amounts of time trying to avoid disaster while you take the time to create the next room or monster

Hello all!
Looking at you deafnala, not trying to steal your myconid throne!
Not mine, no sponsor etc.
I drybrushed the whole thing with off-white, trying to keep it sort of zenithal, then used the Speedpaints, bone, and orange and yellow for the caps.
You can see the print lines all over him, basically due to the speedpaint settling aggressively into every recess. Looks fine for a fungus
Hope you enjoyed! I have a few PC minis for the new group coming soon.

Yes, resin the best for detail!
The back of the cloak has some print lines on them but its just cloth so I just wanted to focus on the front.
Im slowly and secretly prepping a campaign like Redwall, a fantasy woodland creature setting. We will see if the group goes for such a thing even though they tend towards edge-lord hack and slash stuff we usually do!''
Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you!!
Im not a fan of the larger stuff after painting this dude, but when you end up painting some of the 40k tanks and warmachines they can get huge so I guess theres little difference in a way.
I still have 25mm Ral Parthas that Im more excited to work on!
Thank you for your kind reviews!

Hello everyone! Its been a while since Ive posted, but I have a new project that just finished up for a buddy: Here is the original that you can buy: Terrible, I know! My coworker gave me this to paint, and first of all Ive never painted something this big, but I saw most of the repaint vids for these on Youtube. Not hard. Scrubbed him wiht soap and hit with a black primer spray. Prime it brown! Airbrush for speed and nice gradients, and a standard marine for scale: Final product, this took me a month mainly because it was not exactly fun: Definitely for display, the paint scratches off pretty easily wiht other parts of it rubbing against the other. Not viable for an actual toy for the kids. Anyway, thanks for looking, I hope you all have fun painting regardless of the mini!

Yes! I have tons of MDF 15mm x 30mm for my 10mm games these are perfect for any base!
The thin plywood is also known as Luan if you cant find it at first or at least its an equivalent. Luan is super thin and darker from hardwoods and the other usually a mix of pine or ash, etc.

Nice paint job! I wonder if the carrot is food or a weapon... Why not both?
Its either you see better in the dark or its lights out!

Im stuck on this one, I started painting this one back in August I think, its been like this since September, and I need some pointers. Late 90s Ral Partha Amethyst Dragon for the old 2nd Ed Council of Wyrms boxed set campaign, bought new back then painted terribly and this is my second go; So I tried for various purples and dark blues in the shadows and I went for the standard gem technique, where light hits the top and ends up along them bottom of the gem fading darker as you go up to the final white dot of gleam. I need to figure out how to paint those gleaming dots or edge hightlights, Im open to any suggestion. Havnt done the orb or claws yet either so hit me up with your thoughts on any bit of it if you dont mind? Thank you
