i remember a forum where people had a way of trading mushroom spores and plant seeds (don't ask):
they had a trading thread that followed a simple rule: anyone can claim the item in the
last post by replying with another item to be claimed by the next person to post who in turn
has to offer another item for the next person, ad infinitum.
another thing i saw on a chilli growers forum where they just kept sending a package
with some seed packets around and every person to receive it would take what they wanted
and add some of their own if they had something that wasn't in it already.
that one ended up growing over time.

Okay, first round winners have been picked. Since there were twelve people interested, I decided to roll the over-neglected D12. I assigned numbers to the names in the order they appeared (1=chiefsgtbradley, 2=shinobi, etc.). The end results were 3, 6, and 12. So valas, Meph, and noctuary, you guys will get a pm from me soon and parcels will go out later this week. Congrats. |

There is no obligation for you to have to do anything. However, if you feel inspired to send something to one or more people here, you might inspire others to do the same. Within a few rounds of sending packages out... who knows, perhaps copious amounts of crafting materials will fall from the heavens for all who wish to create. The only thing I can promise, if you do decide to send something out to someone, you will fell very good about yourself. (Just check out the last 5 minutes of the movie "Scrooged") |

Hey everyone. I've been lurking for several months and have recently dove head first into the crafting world. This thread has broken my silence. As I'm still building resources to use, this sounds like a great opportunity. What I have to offer currently may not be much, but I'm a hoarder, and this sounds like an opportunity to get rid of materials I've told myself I'll get around to using. I'm sure my collection will grow, so count me in as I'd love to help others and maybe get a chance to be surprised myself. Is there a way to keep a sticky post inside this thread with an active list of those participating? I'll scrounge around my dinky misc box and see what things I can find to send to someone (plural if I can let go of a lot of things  ). |
