I love those three knights. Whenever they are all lined up they look like they are moving up stage in a musical . . . but what are they singing?

My Mordheim Captain with pistols. I wanted to give him a Virgil Earp from Tombstone kind of look.

Dwarf Slayer It has been a while since I painted a mini. Either I've gotten rusty or this was just a difficult model to paint. Anyway, I tried to do some tattoo effect on the models arms, legs, and back. I though he would be a good model for a practice run with tattoos but he has surprisingly little room for such embellishments (despite being naked!). Edit: For some reason the pictures came out very small. Probably user error lol.

I'm not sure it would work on a dwarf but something like that could go a long way toward making a really cool ogre or giant.

Today I received 4 ogres that I ordered from Ebay. They arrived slightly over-primed but for the price I'm pretty happy. Below is the first model of the group. I still need to do the base and may add a few more highlights later.

Great paint job on the ogre! That said, the sculpt is driving me crazy - his front has tons of detail, but his back is so... plain. I'd be tempted to add something... like a big scar or tattoo across his back, chains hanging from his belt or a chainmail cloak... Anything to add some eye candy back there. Just a preference thing

Just a preference thing I've been searching for some Nail art stuff per Tausters suggestion. I was going to freehand it but I thought I would give that a try. Once I find a suitable design I'll post an update.

A couple of new figures I recently finished. One is a human thug and the other is a vampire knight (I'm still working on his horse).

My Viking Warband for Saga finally complete. I got so tired of painting these guys that I just slopped paint on the last half, dipped them, and hit them with a matte varnish. Not my best work but playable. For anyone looking for cheap 28mm vikings check out Wagames factory. Great models for the price but you definitely get what you pay for lol www.wargamesfactory.com/webstore/hammer-of-the-godsWhat's your verdict on Wargames Factory minis? I'm thinking about buying a box of those Huscarls and some Orcs. I really like the aesthetic of your painting!

I have several boxes of theirs so I'll give you my thoughts on each.
Skeletons: Frail and thin but not bad for undead and undead parts. British Colonial Infantry: So poorly done that they are still in the box unused. Viking Bondi and Huscarls: Not bad, a little stiff and boring but ok in hordes.
Overall the thing you have to remember is that you get what you pay for with WGF. The are dirt cheap so they don't look great but are acceptable for the most part. I have heard good things about their newer models. I have been tempted to pick up a box of their Orcs because I like the style they have them in but I've heard mixed reviews.
This is my opinion on WGF summed up in one emoticon ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
