As always Alan, your work leaves me ...speechless.
The sculpts, the poses, the painting, the decoration, your distinct style that emerges from every single one of your works... If, in a few years of continued crafting, I get anywhere even slightly close to your level of skill, I would be happy.

Howdy, Seriously... those pumpkin dude minis need a kickstarter! Somebody get castings and start production, Kev! Thanks for the enthusiastic reply, Kev! I'm delighted you like the Pumpkin Guys. The kick starter would land me in a lot of trouble. These are kit bashed miniatures. I could avoid using Reaper's Jack O'Lanterns by only using my own sculpts, but I doubt if G.W. would go along with using their plastic parts, out of production or not. I can, however, make them as one off miniatures for other Folk.

I have no doubt that you will leave me in your dust eventually. You have the potential & the drive to achieve it.

Thanks, sgain...I'm glad you like it. AND while I'm at it. I received a Vulture Man from & created by one of the Guys on Lead Adventure Forum, ZeroTwentyThree. It was bare clawed originally. Zero had added the G.W. Mordheim Accessory Sprue Lantern to his. SO I did the same to mine plus I made mine a bell to give him the Town Crier look...he's the Blight Crier. This is the W.I.P. Crier: ...finished: ... AND making his rounds: ...more to come.

Nice! Shouldn't the lantern hang perpendicular to the ground?

Clearly it was caught in mid-swing!

Nice! Shouldn't the lantern hang perpendicular to the ground? It would most definitely if he were standing still. Since it would have been an extreme pain in the lower regions to reposition it, I opted to view it as swinging with his(?) stride. That aside, thanks for the reply, Sam. I'm happy you like him/her/whatever.

Clearly it was caught in mid-swing! Thanks for the reply, margaret I appreciate your defense...I borrowed the excuse. For you while I'm at it: I started this Steam Punky Witch (Reaper) back in '12 for my erstwhile friend, Susan. She moved away t distant Houston before I finished it. It sat until a couple of weeks ago, when I took an hour or less to do the last little bit of work on her. SO here's Suzy The Witch: ...more stuff in awhile.

In a similar vein as Suzy The Witch, I made a base that was not really for any particular model, but it looked like the Mordheim Free Lancer might be destined to occupy it. Then I got this cool Grenadier Goblin Spider Rider sans the spider. About a year later one of the Reaper Forum Guys posted a "Terror Bird" (Reaper 03092 Axebeak). It looked like The Perfect mount for the Goblin AND the base seemed like it was made for the two...which it wasn't. SO before I can get diverted again, here are too many photos (I couldn't make up my mind which to leave out) of the Big Bird Rider: ...from various angles: ...with some photos of the base details: ... AND a better look at The Rider: ...be warned: there is still more to come.

the woods have eyes! that is really creepy. That is an ongoing theme throughout most of the things I've been making for the last dozen or so years. It is creepy, but with a certain charm all its own...admittedly a eerie sort of charm. Thanks for the reply, margaret.

Today was a less than a flurry of activity...more like an ooze of productivity. I did manage to paint some bases for the Pumpkin Heads Gangs. The Witch's Hunters: Witch & Pistol Packing Persons: ... AND Von Kurst's Hounds: ...I have great hopes for tomorrow & the weekend...I have a lot of silly notions.

The last of the Hounds is done, which completes the Von Kurst Gang save some Gypsy Hench Persons. SO without further a do The Hound & Company: ...The Pumpkin Head Shaman has been promoted to the exalted position og Master of the Hounds; his Bone of Contention came into play here: ...AND the entire Von Kurst Gang: ...I'm sure some artsy photos will appear later...or not.
