I really like those. Where are the miniatures from? Very stylized. Much different from the norm. Thanks, Meph. The Dark Hold Goblins are from Rebel Miniatures: www.rebelminis.com/dahogo.htmlToday I did the woodwork plus metalwork on the swords, spears, & pole arms along with the Druidess & her Rat: ...seen here with the rest of the Adventurers II: AND the Militia Captian: ...with his W.I.P. Company: The Crew as they look now: ...have a Good Night!

This morning it looked like my production for the day would be a shield. Then I fabricated some Flowers with Faces & primed them. AND, in a final crescendo of activity, I finished the Goblin Ranger: ...not too shoddy. He brings to mind my erstwhile friend Rick's character: Ranger Rick, fleet of foot, faint of heart, feeble of mind.

Yesterday's trip to Austin mean nothing got done, BUT today I finished the last three Goblin Militia in one fell swoop. Seen here with & without cookies sent by a Dutch Friend: ... AND the Whole Crew: ...not bad for an Old Man!

Love these figures and your paint scheme.
Ps: Sorry if I went a little crazy with the like button on the pictures in this thread, I was a bit late to the party on this one and I love me some orange skinned goblins.( Damn you GW goblins are NOT green! )

After a slow start, I managed to finish the two Foot Knights: The Blue Knight: The Red Knight: AND The Adventurers I, II, & The Militia with the Deluge off to the right: ...two mounted Knights to go.

Triple A again: awesome as always! Thanks, tauster. I'm happy you like it. Not exactly Earth shaking progress, but progress nonetheless. I did up the Crazy Girls wings, hair, & flesh tones: ...there you have it...such as it is. This is actually the first time I've chronicled a piece 's progress on a daily basis. The normal thing for moi is to post the based & base coated mini; when next seen, it's done. I must say...well I don't really have to say, but I think I will anyway...I am finding it a motivating way to paint.

Did you sculpt all this stuff yourself? What type of clay? Do you have any tutorial videos? Love your work. Your paint work is so lovely and colorful it reminds me of Disneyland or a colorful reef tank full of a large variety of corals, anemones and fish.

I'm sorry I tooks so long to respond. The Faerie is one of the out of production Fairy Meat Miniature by Kenzer & company. The flowers are a combination of two different floral pieces from Michael's; they are held together wit floral wire that I hope passes for tendrils. The Flower Faces, Mushrooms, & things like that I sculpt out of green stuff, sometimes with a plumber's epoxy putty base. For trying you patience the second & somewhat saner Faerie is dedicated to you: AND The Faeries & Flowers: ...there you go!

The "IT" that came from darkest Ohio in this instance is one of several cool thingies I received in a surprise package from a L.A.Forumite. IT was in retaliation for a package of Mushrooms I sent off awhile ago. This Floating Tentacled Whatever was made & cast by ZeroTwentthree & seen here with an old Citadel Leprechaun: ...the ruff below the orb reminded me of a clown's neck ruff...Circus Music started playing through my mind. AND two eyes appeared almost of their own volition: ...followed by a face: ...now IT's ready for some paint; & the Leprechaun has distanced himself from the whole affair. I could used this as another example of how easy it is to get carried away with just the hint of an idea, but I'd prefer to just say the Devil made me do it...sounds plausible.

Ok that does it, now that you've gone and added a clown this whole project has gone from pleasantly disturbing to full blown creepy ;-))
I like it! (still hate clowns though)

Have you sculpted the The Faceless Horror Garbage Removal Service yourself? If yes: How did you make the teeth? I'm asking because teeth are one of the things I'm not very good at sculpting/crafting. Regarding the thing's name: I really wouldn't call it 'faceless'. In fact, there are not very much creatures out there that are less faceless than your FHGRS! And the Floating Tentacled Whatever is also great. Which isn't difficult because having tentacles is almost a guarantee to be cool. Plus, teh face! Love it. [/i]

I'm glad you like IT despite your feelings about clowns...my sons are terrified of clowns even now as grown men. Have you sculpted the The Faceless Horror Garbage Removal Service yourself? The Faceless Horror (I agree it is a bad description) is Reaper's 77114 Faceless Horror (the source of the name); it's available in metal as well as the bones. AND here's where we stand with IT: ...IT is actually finished; all that needs to be done is to mount IT on IT's base. More photos later today or early tomorrow are in the card.
