AAnd a few characters I've painted, along with some good shots of my green knight that I've used for scale. Witch Hunter
I'm not sure who made this one, I think it may be GW, but I'm not sure. I found him in the resale bins at the local shop, he's one of the few slotta based minis I've done for a long while, and entirely because his feet are posed in a way that would have made pinning a pain and I don't think that he'd remain standing without that, so I used the slotta... Female (Arcane) Archer
Crocodile Games's Demigod of Artemis, a wonderful mini, and I really like the minis that the company puts out...Wargods is also a fun game anyway, I've got to actually build my own force at some point rather than using my friends forces for it... Green Knight
Actually did this one a while back, figured I ought to take some pics of her alone. She's another Reaper Bones mini, and I'm rather happy with how she turned out. Oracle
She's an Oracle of Delphi from Gorgon Miniatures, got her as a freebie a while back, and is supposedly an accurate representation of greek oracles at the time and was listed as a historical mini. She originally came with the stone piece that I used with the archer because I just couldn't get both the Oracle and the altar positioned on it without making a nightmare scenario for myself in actually painting the mini.
And just realized I forgot to paint the fire in the brazier she's holding...spoiler is due to potential issues due to the mini...

Well, had some free time and needed to start work on a new set of dungeon tiles after my last nicer ones were pretty well ruined and I've been wanting to do more than the printed ones I've been using. Add the really nice stuff I have access to that the local library put in (3D Printer and Laser Etcher/Cutter mainly, thinking of what I could use the 3D router for though), so I finished up a recent order for woodcrafter stuff with a bunch of 2.5" wood squares and worked out a basic pattern. Haven't gone beyond etching the 40 of them I bought as I'm waiting for a bit to spray everything at the same time, but here's the look of the basic tile. I'm planning on priming it with a spray, then a stone texture spray, then a black wash, a sealing spray, and then attach some felt to the back of it.

Well, things have been delayed on working with things. A massive allergy issue is still ongoing along with getting stuck dealing with little kids means that I can't really work on things.
I did however get a decent sized order from Reaper in that I'll be working on, probably, starting over the weekend.

Hmmm... From a grick to a baby - quite a variety you have there!

Hmmm... From a grick to a baby - quite a variety you have there! The funny thing is that the baby is one that I didn't really need from the set, needed a young boy and girl for Rose & Thorn from Death House, and the Reaper Townsfolk set with them in it has an extra boy, the baby, and the two chickens. The griffon is a mini I'd had for a long while that was just primed and waiting to be painted for a while. The other monsters are for Ravenloft, and I grabbed a bunch of character options...along with the Reaper Anniversary mini which is rather good. Only annoying thing with the set is that the Rogue's nose was messed up

Very nice paint jobs.
The mismolded rogue could make a good doppelganger or other creature in a poor human guise; or just a deformed, scarred, or cursed human.
The Rogue reminds me of the thief from Ed Greenwood's The Wizard's Mask. In that book the thief had stolen a magical mask. Turned out the mask is cursed, he can't get rid of it, and its slowly destroying the features of his face so he is hideously deformed beneath the mask. They describe him as having a lipless slit for a mouth and his face becoming like a melting wax figures. The only thing that slows the loss of his features is wearing the mask.

Was thinking of using him for a changeling, but I kind of needed a more normal rogue mini

Using the boy and girl for Rose and Thorn for Death House is a good idea. I need to check through my minis to see if I've got something equivalent as I'm going to be running the Ravenloft adventure in a few months!

I'm hoping that it's just a monthly limit thing, which is why I'm waiting until Saturday before messing with things

Still debating about how to replace the images posted. Some of them, I believe, were only on photobucket...don't have the spare cash to pay for an account upgrade there.mHowever, I did stumble onto something interesting at a local K-Mart that's just about completely empty (they were listing it as only being open for up to 10 more days). They had one of the Nintendo Microworld Playsets for Zelda Windwaker in the various stuff they had, and it was 70% off the already clearance price, so a pretty decent deal that came to a buck. The mini in it is Tetra, who would work as a halfling or gnome in scale if not a younger kid. The three tiles included are 2"x2" and would interlock with other playsets from the series (There are some larger ones and others of the same size, but none were still in stock there). Took a few pics of it to share, including some of the mini sitting on a base. Unfortunately the tower in the set doesn't fit minis with bases, but the mini isn't that stable without one... I'm using a reaper knight for a scale comparison in a few shots, the base I have Tetra on is a 1" round base. And I'm planning on paying for the other sets, I have one of Zelda's alternate forms, might as well try to get the other characters and, well, the Zelda form one...

Still need to take pics of them, but I found some more of the microland sets, though the ones with three figures and no tiles. Other than that one of them has a Tetra that's identical to the one I already have 2 of (Thinking of repainting one and utilizing the other as part of something else I'm working on...namely a small airship for a wargame I've been thinking of working out a flying piece for.
Just trying to find some plastic eggs that are of around the same diameter of a toilet paper roll...

Photobucket did the same to me, I switched over to google photos instead. You should be able to download your images from photobucket, but if there are many of them it can be a pain.

I downloaded them, just don't really have the time, currently to go back through all of my posts in order to change the URLs.

Well, got pics of the new minis and I'm happy to use them as, largely, gnomes while I think the King and Gannondorf ones might work decently for normal sized characters.
