Thanks. I did the stream by hot glueing down blue metallic cardboard stock that is shiny on one side (got it at the craft store) . I then coated it with mod podge gloss, I think two coats.

Yeah I agree with you. It does look silly on some of them. Unfortunately I already made a dozen or so but the next ones will be better.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Storage is a problem, there are all mostly one piece. Right now I have them on storage shelving similar to this: www.lowes.com/pd/Blue-Hawk-72-in-H-x-36-in-W-x-18-in-D-5-Tier-Plastic-Freestanding-Shelving-Unit/50436504But yeah the big stuff overhangs off the top. And I have to get creative in storing them, turning sideways or long ways up and on their side etc. I have even more bigger terrain that you guys havent seen yet, but you will soon =). I went on a kick for a couple weeks stuck on doing ice terrain, mostly caves.

Awhile back I asked my woman to grab me a foam board from the local hardware store on her way home. She brought home a pack of project panels, which was like 5-6 sheets of 13.5 inches wide by 4 feet long styrofoam 1/2 inch thick. Immediately I thought modular forest pieces that could be placed along side each with different stuff in each. I coated the panels in white glue first, then painted them with 50/50 paint /acrylic mix to make the flimsy syrofoam better. I built one that is a path going through the woods with a camping area, a couple caves, several rock outcrops, and best of all GIANT tree trunks =) . I built another one with a small stream, pond, pillars (similar to a druid circle maybe), and lots of flowers, trees bushes, etc. Lots of places for enemies to hide or treasure =) . And I made them similar heights so they stack neatly one on top of the other.

Thanks for the compliments! I added a couple removeable facades for 3 rooms on the bottom. Because who doesnt love finding out whats behind closed doors? =) Keep in mind the paint aint fully matched yet while I wait for it to dry to add more coats.
