I've got both Resin and FDM printers. Depending on how the object is printed on an FDM, you can reduce how noticeable the lines are, but I've never been able to completely get rid of them. As far as using something to reduce their visibility, I've never tried anything to do it, but have heard that people use Smooth-On before.
The model looks very cool by the way. Great paint job.

They suggest using a sealer when printing out water slide decals on ink-jets (using decal paper). That way, you've sealed the ink so it won't run when you actually wet the decal paper. Something I've been meaning to try.

I never added contact paper to the covers of any of my books, so mine are in various levels of deterioration, but for the most part, mine are in pretty good shape considering.

Nothing wrong with finding a tool that you like and saves you money at the same time.

I use Pledge to make Magic Wash as well as the polymer works better for thinning the paint than water does. Though it leaves the minis with a glossy coat, that can be removed with a dull coat spray paint. When I found Magic Wash online years ago, I thought it was a fantastic addition to mini painting!

I keep meaning to build a paint booth to use my airbrush inside, but am being lazy. I'm luck in that the room I am going to build it in has crank out windows, that will allow me to replace the screen with a piece of plywood, that has the vent hose attached and when I want to paint, I just crank out the window and let the exhaust blow out that hose. Then when I'm done, just close the window.

Never thought of painting the skin over the whole model first. Course, I tend to paint the more recessed areas first, then move on from there.

I still have most of those geomorph products in my gaming closet. I really liked the idea and pulled the trigger to buy them, but ended up not using them. Just couldn't make myself cut up the pages! LOL!

I picked up the Arduin books back in the day. Still have them, they sit on a book shelf, but are available for getting ideas from.
