Wow. You got a lot of stuff "in the wings". The mushrooms look great as usual. It is a damp drizzly April here. And my knees ache. You wouldn't believe how much stuff I've accumulated over the years. Painting for other Folk meant that things I wanted to do for the joy of it all got backlogged. I figure I have about two thousand pieces or parts to make pieces. Cap'n John has nearly seven thousand fantasy & about the same in historical...if you need anything & I have it, it's yours. I did some work on the Mushrooms. I will post photos a little later.

...now Green Stuffing, Stage I: ...with Leo "Legs-don't-fail-me-now" Sizechek for a size check: ... AND Green Stuffing Stage II, capping off the sculpts: ...next time they are seen, they should look a bit more colorful.

Great stuff, as always. And seing it evolve is a great lesson. Eyes on the head. Now that's a mushroom I'd run away from too!

Thanks for the kind reply, Daniel. I am happy you like them. I can see where Leo will be a lot of fun running in terror from everything.

Poor Leo better keep moving, and quick...an underbite that strong has never been accompanied by good intentions.

Thanks for the reply, woof! The Folks on the reaper forum have taken to using a rather bland armored miniature for a size comparison. They call him Sir Forscale. I've had Leo waiting attention for quite awhile. He seems to show a proper appreciation for the situation. Having him running in terror from all sorts of Beasties is going to be fun...not for Leo, but the rest of us.

Great job on the shrums! The one with the eyes in the cap is just really creepy!

Thanks for the reply, skunkape. I'm glad you like them. I agree about the creepiness of the Many Eyed Mushroom...but he does have an endearing smile.

Teddy said "Speak softly and carry a big sword." Or something like that. Looks good.

Thanks for the reply, Sam! When I first saw this Guy, he looked like he'd match up size-wise with an Enigma Dwarf I have. He is actually pretty small. The mask & his diminutive stature give him a touch of the absurd or at the least a silly look. That, of course, works well with my approach to fantasy. I imagine him with Ogre Power from some magical source or other.

This is one of those miniatures that I wanted done. Ergo, it seemed to take forever. Nevertheless I finished the Siren Miniature Dwarf a little while ago & snapped some photos on the work table & a couple of spots around The Witches' Swamp. Starting on the work table: ...seen here leaving Oozy Suzy's: ...by the Piranha Club: AND an overview of the scene...this is my favorite photo of the shoot: ...there you go. Next I think I'll make some photo stages of Woods & Slums.

You know, I just realized I probably couldn't have a game session in one of your terrain sets.
Because I would just sit there and stare, dumbfounded, at the piece of art. Moving miniatures around in it and just using it as backdrop for a game is like being asked to crayon in a work of Picasso.

I think you have more appreciation than most gamers would because you make your own FINE creations. Some of the terrain I made for a gaming store back on Long Island got pretty heavily mauled. I am. of course, delighted you like the stuff.

I want a close up of the cyclops. Is this made from bark? This one? Most of these are Living Oak bark with some Pecan as well.
