Might work better to use rhinestones like Scotty does with several things rather than beads on the edges.

I like the looks of them, might also be interesting to try painting the toothpick for the flame jet prior to adding hot glue over top

I especially like the copper bars. I would probably use sequins rather than Swarovski crystals, since I have them and they cost a lot less. But the crystals are particularly nice for a memento piece.

yeah, those are pretty nice. but while its cool to have numerous currency in your game. its also very distressing for your players. mines already have trouble moving on with the current coin system that they just wanna change everything to gold and be done with it. i mean come on, even gems they wanna change into golds and split it cause its too much trouble trying to appraise stuff, role playing a vendor. they preffer to just buy what they need and be done with it. basically my group wants more adventures then town role playing buy outs.
i'm old school so of course i will never make those changes... but seriously... you are lucky if you have role playing players, the players i have around the place where i live are pretty much all power gamers who wants money to buy new weapons and armors. the rest can go to hell. even if you give them a castle they'll be like, cool we got a castle... but they'll never be using it cause its of no use in game.
just to give you an exemple of how much power gaming they are... one plays a women, the other plays a man, they will never fall in love. love only brings disaster to a group. they will always be good friends and thats gonna be it.

Cool coins! I purchased the World Works games coins product and have looked at quite a few different companies that make coins.

Love those coins! Given the right players, money can be endless fun in the game (but so can almost any other aspect...) I once made stacks of old copper Pfennige*, packed them in a roll made of sewn leather, with a seal & writ from the temple of Waukeen, signed and dated several years prior to the in-game year. Then I made another such roll with different coins, but Waukeen writ was a few years younger - the same cleric who had signed it now had a more powerful title. My players loved it, even if it didn't have any use in the game. * the 'cent' equivalent of the old Deutsche Mark, before the Euro Here's another 'alternative coin thing I made: Little flat bars of precious metal that originally were a collectible card game (the Spelljammer equivalent to Magic the Gathering). That game has been around Wildspace communities for centuries and thus has spread into many of the Known Spheres. It is relatively unknown in groundling settings (which gives me a nice excuse why nobody in my FR campaign had ever heard of it), but in most wildspace ports, you can use it almost like currency. Of course there was another twist: The value of the cards was based not only on the metal itself but modified by several factors, like rarity, level of craftmanship and detail and where you are (i.e. they were more valuabel in some crystal spheres than in others). If you start to multiply those factors, that box of 60 card coins (20x silver, gold and platinum each) whose metal content is 1.220 GP might very quickly go up to almost 100K GP! So for the players, it totally pays to either spend some character points in proficiencies like gambling or history (wildspace), and/or you take the time in port and pay a visit to money changer, or better: a collector. Which means, of course, more roleplaying. There are dozens of adventure hooks available, if you feel your players like that stuff: Tournaments, hunting for ultra-rares, searching the tomb of a famous engraver, decoding hidden messages in a card, trying to complete a deck where all cards together give you something (a variant of the treasure hunt scenario), socialising with rich collectors (intrigue!), defending your ultra-rare cards against thieves, etc... Now that I think of it, these engraved cards might be a cool project for 3D printing...

Another thing that works great for making currency are cookie cutters, the ones with impression molds inside them. Take a piece of cardboard and sandwich it between the cheap foam board, then cut it to coin size and use the cookie cutters as a stamp.

So you think that there should be a universal base for clip on wall props? Like what was done for the hidden doorway?
