They look quite good, however, not really sure if they really fit as a "mine", they do really look good as an underdark thing though.
An actual mine would tend to be a bit more regular with bracings...and for the more iconic looks, would have cart tracks (Even though that is more of a thing from relatively recent times).
Perhaps slightly less crumpled cardboard for the walls that would be kept closer to straight with clips from craft sticks positioned vertically at regular intervals combined with a few "open" tiles that would have a few of the wooden pieces lined up for vertical posts...

Dead on.
...So, truth is as I was making them I realized the same thing...but I already had an episode called Cave Tiles so I stuck with it. :-)

i thought you didn't want to use the card base thing ever again.
aside from that, really simple and effective method.

Perhaps rather than as a clip on, use a strip of card folded into more of a T-shape or possibly and I shape would work better and let it use the meeting of two tiles that would be on either side to help lock it in place. That would also help in having players or npcs moving through them rather than dealing with the necessity of the walls in place adding something that, somewhat, sticks out of place in the system...

I think I understand - you are saying, if a hallway ended at a door, the "dead end" would have no wall, just a door with a small amount of free space on each side of it?

Yeah, or even built into the door frame having rising areas that wouldn't look out of place there where walls aren't. The big thing being using the weight and pressure of the tiles on either side of the doorway to keep the door in place due to having a tab that would be down between them.

love the new intro, short, precise, but somehow i think its too short on chest and your logo and too long on actual title. i have to recheck it but there is definitely something not right in, thats my impression as i look at it. might be just me used to your longer version though. but the introduction then the video intro then you back definitely the right way to go. just that somehow something seemed not right in the new intro video. but i love the shorter version for sure, didn'T have time to pass thru it so definitely the right amount of time. i'll come back to you on that one. but im pretty sure its the time passed before the chest is openned that is maybe a tad bit too short. like probably 1-2 seconds too short. but i'll come back to you for that one.
aside from that, glad to see im not the only one having problem keeping up with big projects. though that project ended up sweet. i wonder if it holds up to your tile system. as in put the tile down and then put the house over it. so that way people can get inside. really nice job on that whole thing.

That would have been a good idea - create a footprint with some tiles, and design the inn's lower perimeter to match it. Darn.

That's the approach I've been taking as I slowly work on buildings for my western campaign. It's really easy to take that kind of approach by the way, I just have to devote the time to complete them once started!

That would have been a good idea - create a footprint with some tiles, and design the inn's lower perimeter to match it. Darn. Well, your inn seems to be at least two floors, which could be difficult to do there. One other thing that could work is to create a tile that matches slightly larger than the base of the building that it fits into, adding a bit more strength when stored. Might need to trim the center brace somewhat, but other than that, it should work. Although, you also might consider the standard wargames building issue in that the buildings tend to actually be somewhat small for what they represent in order to make gameplay around it easier along with potential storage issues.

rechecked the video intro a few times, i found what i thought was wrong in it. the music is kinda slow and the intro is kinda fast. so thats definitely what triggered my weirdo metter. but the intro is sound a great 10 seconds to me that thats straight to the point. that said, since the music you use is slow, the animation cannot be going that fast. it just seems weird, so i'd slow down the camera moving toward the chest a bit. nothing too big, at best adding like 2 seconds to the intro. that shouldn'T be too much and that should help slow things down a tad just so it can flow with the music.
of course leaving it as is, is also a possibility, i'm nit picking here mostly. also glad you have more space to do stuff.
