I am so glad that Jennifer posted on this thread or I fear I might not have found it. This attention to detail is most excellent. I will be buying as well.

That's odd. I know I replied to this thread earlier today but I don't see my response.
I think they look great. I like the fact that you used brown as the base color as they look good in dungeons and can be used just as easily in ruins or on a hillside for an outside andventure as well.

I downloaded and printed them. Very impressively done. Thanks again.
I do have a couple of questions for you.
1) What did you use to create the models (Blender, Sketchup, Other)?
2) Would you consider modifying them so that the liquid level would be a little lower and then having the liquid printable as a stand alone model? That way you could have multiple liquid parts to print and drop into each cauldron each with it's own color.
Just food for thought.

Instead of trying to sand the PLA (which is not the easiest material to widdle away) I am going to add a film layer of wood putty to the surface and then once dry, work on sanding that down to the highest ridge lines of the model. I think that might be easier to do and the good thing is, I have the spoiled model in the last picture to try it out on before replicating it on the good print. I plan on videoing the entire process and pasting it on my youtube channel so that anyone who wishes can follow along with the fun. www.youtube.com/user/GreyTowerGames

Yeah, for us long in the tooth D&D players, there is not anything more iconic IMHO that that cover. On the amount of material, the program is smart enough that it identifies (inside space) and uses a honeycomb pattern to give the model great strength, while at the same time significantly reducing the amount of material used. I just happen to have a picture of the first printing attempt where a USB communication error caused the printer to stop and the build to be ruined. You can clearly see the honeycomb inside I was referring to.

010 - Creating a Cottage for Fantasy or Wargaming - Part 1: The Structure
This video is part one of a video series (most likely 3 in total) detailing how I built my prototype 28mm cottage. This cottage, as well as other structures derived from the technology to build it, can be used in RPG games such as Pathfinder/D&D as well as tabletop war games like Saga or Muskets and Tomahawks.
This process leverages a few techniques that were already presented in prequel videos. These are:
007 - How to Create a Stamp to Produce Clay Wooden Planks
008 - How to Create a Mold to Produce Clay Stones for a Stonewall
011 - Creating a Cottage for Fantasy or Wargaming - Part 2: Finishing
This video is part two of a two part video series detailing how I built my prototype 28mm cottage. This cottage, as well as other structures derived from the technology to build it, can be used in RPG games such as Pathfinder/D&D as well as tabletop war games like Saga or Muskets and Tomahawks.
This process leverages a few techniques that were already presented in prequel videos. These are:
007 - How to Create a Stamp to Produce Clay Wooden Planks h
008 - How to Create a Mold to Produce Clay Stones for a Stonewall
Video12 - Making Affordable Miniature Storage Containers
This video details how to create quick, easy and inexpensive storage for all of your miniatures. The particular one demonstrated in this video will hold roughly 40 miniatures and only costs around $4 to make.
Video 13 - Making Wooden Plank Bases for Pathfinder/D&D Miniatures

This video details how to make a detachable flaming sphere (as per the spell) gaming aid for Pathfinder, D&D or any other tactical table top game for that matter.
007 - How to Create a Stamp to Produce Clay Wooden Planks
This video details how to create a stamp to easily mass produce wooden planks of any length and width from clay. These planks can then be used in any of your fantasy table builds for either RPG games such as Pathfinder/D&D as well as tabletop war games.
This process, along with how to create stones (next video) was used in support of the cottage build which will be coming in the near future.
008 - How to Create a Mold to Produce Clay Stones for a Stonewall
This video details how to create a simple mold to create stone facings for clay stone walls. These stones can then be used in any of your fantasy table builds for either RPG games such as Pathfinder/D&D as well as tabletop war games. This process, along with the previous video (how to create wooden planks out of clay) were used in support of the cottage build which will be coming in the very near future.

My video collection currently stands at luck number 13 so I figured this would be the best place to post these to solicit feedback and insight. I will post the first 13 videos ion 3 threads in blocks of 5, 4 and 4 now and add to this thread as new ones become available.
Any and all feedback is appreciated.
001 - Greetings - Crafting a Bookshelf with Potions for Pathfinder and D&D
My first video details how to make a simple bookshelf and populate it with books and potion bottles. This build touches on some of my hobbies including Pathfinder, 3d printing, mold making and mold casting. I hope you enjoy it.
002 - How to Make Stalagmites for Pathfinder and D&D
This video details how to make stalagmites for Pathfinder and D&D.
I was inspired watching a video from TheDMGInfo channel where he made stalagmites out of tin foil and hot glue. I decided to craft some using Sculpty (a polymer clay) and I think they turned out to be table worthy.
003 - How to Make Reusable 2.5D Tiles for Pathfinder/D&D
This video details how to make modular reusable tiles for Pathfinder, D&D or any other tactical table top game for that matter. The inspiration for this video was watching all of the excellent DMScotty videos on the theDMsCraft channel where he uses cardboard and hot glue to make his tiles. I wanted to do something a little different and use heavier materials that would allow users to take a base set and make an infinite number of dungeons/caverns. If this sounds interesting to you, kick up your feet, sit back and watch the first video in this three video series which focuses on building the foundation for these tiles. The other two videos (creating the cavern walls and creating the dungeon walls) are almost completely shot and should be coming out shortly.
004 - How to Make Reusable 2.5D Cavern Walls for Pathfinder/D&D
This video details how to make modular reusable cavern walls for Pathfinder, D&D or any other tactical table top game for that matter. The inspiration for this video was watching all of the excellent DMScotty videos on the theDMsCraft channel where he uses cardboard and hot glue to make his tiles. I wanted to do something a little different and use heavier materials that would allow users to take a base set and make an infinite number of dungeons/caverns.
This video is part 2 of 3 and covers the making of the cavern walls. If this sounds interesting to you, kick up your feet, sit back and watch the second video in this three video series which focuses on building cavern walls for these tiles. The last video (creating the dungeon walls) is almost completely shot and should be coming out shortly.
005 - How to Make Reusable 2.5D Dungeon Walls for Pathfinder/D&D
This video details how to make modular reusable dungeon walls for Pathfinder, D&D or any other tactical table top game for that matter. The inspiration for this video was watching all of the excellent DMScotty videos on the theDMsCraft channel where he uses cardboard and hot glue to make his tiles. I wanted to do something a little different and use heavier materials that would allow users to take a base set and make an infinite number of dungeons/caverns.
This video is part 3 of 3 and covers the making of the dungeon walls. If this sounds interesting to you, kick up your feet, sit back and watch the third video in this three video series which focuses on building dungeon walls for these tiles. Future videos in this vein will relate to building portals and doors for these tiles and will be coming out soon.

If you are looking to make a clay cutting tool similar to a garrote (at least that's what I am thinking when I read your description) I would suggest not using sculpy to fasten the wire to the copper or the wood. I would instead drill a hole in the wooden or copper handles and thread the wire through it. I would think the clay once hardened wouldn't stand up to the stress of cutting the clay and the threaded solution would be better.
