Superb! I am going to need a magnifying lamp to even come close to that kind of paint job. And it still won't be very close...

Beautiful painting . Interestingly, what brand/type paints do you use?

Howdy, what brand/type paints do you use? I started out with an acrylic sample set from Michael's. Then I got some larger size "student" quality acrylics from there as well. I still use these "Craft" paints all the time. Black, Burnt Sienna(dark brown), Raw Sienna(light brown), and Yellow Ochre are my most used. It is easy to mix lighter or darker shades with these as the base. I did buy some Reaper metallics, Tarnished Steel and Ancient Bronze. I got some P3 metallics, Honed Steel and Molten Bronze. I don't like the paint pots though, I prefer the dropper bottles. Then I splurged on some colors from the discount bin at the reaper store... 1$ each, a range of greens, browns, and skintones. And Dirty Bone which I use a LOT. I got some vallejo paints for Christmas but use them rarely. They need thinning each time and it's just a hassle. TL;DR Craft Quality/Reaper combo Kev!

Thanks, I must try reaper paints, just was interested into what you used, as they look great on that model.
