We swapped DMs 3 times last year in the same campaign with no issues. Only reason I am Dming full time was because the players preferred my style. There were no issues swapping within an ongoing campaign though. Of course my group doesn't change...they are the same people I played with 20+ years ago. If they like your DM style they will stick around.

Just got done placing a semi-large order from thedicebaglady.net . Lots of minis and those beautiful treasure chests Meph bought and painted. Ran me $108 shipped. I got the Viking Hirdmen set because it complements the Frostgrave soldier kit well. (44 vikings configurable in many ways to your liking.. like 4 sprues of 11 figures each). Some more posts with photos of what I just ordered to follow.

Frostgrave soldiers ordered:

Viking Hirdmen ordered (44 total in box): One of the reasons I ordered these is that there are no soldiers with chainmail in the Frostgrave Soldiers kit above. The Frostgrave manual calls for some figurines to have chainmail (templar, knight & marksmen). Also, I can use weapons from this kit in the soldier kit if I want, and vice versa. I could even swap heads but that is a bit of work because the Frostgrave soldier kit is ball & socket, and the joints of the vikings are flat.

The wizards I ordered: CP Old Mage -- after I saw Meph's I had to get it CP White Wizard -- kinda Saruman looking (I like it): Of all the official Frostgrave Wizard/Apprentice pairs, I liked the following so I got it:

FGV300 Undead Encounters (Mantic / North Star) : I really love this set. So many to meet all my Frostgrave undead needs: 10 skeletons 4 ghouls 3 zombies EDIT: well I still need wraiths and vamps it turns out .. will probably just 3D print those (spent enough).

And finally, the last of the order I just placed with the dice bag lady: Treasure Chests (12 for around $10). I couldn't find any photos of the treasure chests painted, so I hope it is okay with Meph to share his wonderful photo for a sample of them. Meph did such a gorgeous paint job on them. These are just 3 of 12 -- all three of those in this photo are amazing! Can't wait for this little set of treasure chests. I'll need to ask Meph for painting tips on these!

Someone mentioned on another forum that Annie (The Dice Bag Lady), has a deal for 23 quid where you get 1/2 of the box of the Gripping Beast Viking Hirdmen (what I ordered above) along with half of the Gripping Beast Dark Age Warriors box kit. This is only one more quid than the Viking Hirdmen set. I don't need 44 vikings -- 22 would be enough! So I contacted her and asked her if she could change my 44 vikings to this 50/50 mix and she gladly obliged. With the Dark Age Warriors in the mix it gives me more options since the bodies are in cloth (unlike the mail of the vikings) and they have different weapons and heads (which I can mix and match with the vikings) for even more variety. Here is a photo of some of the Dark Age Warriors:

Meph, i meant that all DMs have their own ways. so in a homemade campaign made by one guy, the others may end up doing thigns that are compaltely out of campaign settins because of prefferences. thats why i said its not possible. cause it ends up weird and all... exemple... me im more about fantasy mythic games. while my friend is more into anime like stuff. so if we change around. you go from fighting dragons fromt eh D&D book, into fighting dragons from the fairytales anime. which are completey different and completely homemade. thats a huge change in itself. also he gives off XP much more freely then me. so by the time we switch back, the players may be 2 levels higher then they used to be.
so it really depend son the DM at that point. hence why i said it was hard to do. and in the end not preferable.
Jennifer, those things you just pictured, are awesome girl. seriously the minis, the traps. the chest and all... how much did it cost in ordering ?

Could a new thread be created for this ongoing conversation? I'd like to keep this thread Frostgrave related if possible

Could a new thread be created for this ongoing conversation? I'd like to keep this thread Frostgrave related if possible No need Jennifer. My post about multiple DMs was in response to your question about 2 people sharing DM duties. It's easily possible and we have done it for years. Of course people will DM differently. We always approached it honestly and told the DM if the players weren't really digging their style. Find someone who's ideas jive with yours and you can do it.

Nevermind, I just read your other thread. I like those, I think I am going to have to use some of them in a building I am doing soon.

Nevermind, I just read your other thread. I like those, I think I am going to have to use some of them in a building I am doing soon. Just woke up. Yeah they are awesome aren't they? I printed at a reduced size. I printed at .2 layers 10% infill.. and the bars were not solid .. they were like split. I suggest printing with more shells or something.. It takes like 10 mins to print with the 10% infill and would probably only take 20 mins max with 100% infill. It needs more shells and/or infill. Filling in with paint was a PITA -- it wasted like 30 mins of my time doing several coats.
