This is fantastic-looking! Makes me wish there were process pictures. Seriously it was as easy as carving the foam core! I bent itI figured out how the stairs should look. I then cut pieces of cardboard to make them rise up. Covered the exposed cardboard in foil black bombed WITH A RATTLE CAN I MAY ADD! I hear foam and spray paint don't play well but I moved well back from target and it works. Granted you lose a lot of paint but with out a air brush (which I have) It still beats the crap of painting all the cracks. I bet if you looked and found BLACK foamcore it would be the same without any under coat. Then just mount it on an piece of MDF add gravel and presto dry brush and call it a day

I used the crafty goblins method of stamping the foamcore to make the bricks

Really digging the look of these pieces, I get cold just looking at them.
Would be cool to see a piece like this with a campfire in the hollow of the stairs spreading a warm glow. Might be interesting to see if players naturally tend to move towards it during play :-)

Awesome stuff! That tower came out great! Looks like you have mastered adding snow and ice. "Get the shovels!"

I made some spell effect counters for Frostgrave! Actually was a lot of fun! This is for a spell called Bones of The Earth! A skeletal hand comes out of the ground and grabs you! his one is an east one! The Wizard Eye! Yes for those of you playing at home it is indeed half a ping pong ball! lolol

All this talk of frostgrave is making me want to get the game and try it in 28mm and 15mm (which means lots of terrain building....)

I hear that. Though I'm in the middle of making my own skirmish game system... I would mostly be interested in looking at how the rules work and the story setting.

What line of miniatures are those bad boys from!? I want! Looks like the Reaper Bones werewolf. Which is one of the ones that doesn't end up missing a lot of recognizable detail (Like the minotaur does)
