Well, the molds didn't turn out as good as I would have hoped The were some air bubbles and it didn't pick up all the detail. I decided to cast some anyway, and I got two semi-decent pewter trolls. I gave them both a paint job (slight variants). Even though it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted, I confess I did feel a sense of pride holding the metal mini that I made from the ground up. And I still have the master... so I can try again at a later date. After all, this is a learning experience.

Just went through this whole thread. Man, oh man, this is amazing work. My sculpting ability would never be this good (I am thinking I might be a slime and ooze guy), but this looks like something I would like to try in the future. I can feel my wife's eyes rolling (yet another project...). She should know me by now.
Curufin, I would be honored if those trolls ate the party that was going through my campaign. They are that good.
