You ever try selling some of your stuff? I'd for sure pay for custom terrain made by you. But seriously I know its going to look epic as shit when you're done. Wow! Thank you, Noc! That is a big compliment. I have never tried selling stuff. Somehow I don't think it would work. I was however thinking about doing some traveling dungeons though (Baba Curufin's Dancing Dungeons). Something like, I build a dungeon, and when I'm done with it (finished running the adventure) I could ship it to someone else so they could run it. Then, when that person was done with it, they could ship it to someone else, and so on and so forth. I typically only run published adventures so anyone could get the module (or maybe I ship it along with the tiles). I have been thinking about a community build. We start with one set of tiles then it gets sent to another guy he adds onto it and so forth and so on. It would be like a Mega Dungeon. Undermountain on steroids! Of course standards would have to be agreed on (or not)

My idea was exactly what Sleepy Hollow Mike said: Start with a dungeon build, send it to another member. That member add another level to the dungeon and sends it to another member. And so on and so on. What will it look like? How far does it go down? What fantastical locals with the players unearth? I have already built the starting dungeon in the form of "The Flooded Fort of Fadenhiem" It just needs a few more 'accessories' and a paint job. That this the next thing on my to do list. It would be really awesome if there was a member here that can draw. We might be able to make an old school module....the F series (I don't think there was an F series). It may be a tall order to get something like this in enough peoples hands to add on and still get it to the winner by January. But, a separate community build could be started.....

why pass it from one crafter to the next. Have each crafter develop 10 tiles each for the mega dungeon. This should speed up build time. Give a standard size to each tile to enhance modularity. When completed the projects could be sent to the winner who has to put the beast together.

Yes you could do something like have four room tiles at "X" dimensions and three at another dimension and three "specialty tiles".Of course like everything it would need some tweeking maybe even lessen the total number to something even more managable for even the busiest of crafters. That damn Real Life is a bitch!

That damn Real Life is a bitch! Yes she is... Yeah 4 tiles per crafter would be cool. Then we could all send them to DM scotty or DMG and have them assemble it and make a vid showing its awesomeness.

It certainly has possibilities! We would need to decide exactly what would be included in the tiles. For instance accessories or not. I think the accessorizing will be the best part of the build. So long as we don't get like ten guys doing torture chambers! lolol perhaps a general list of what types of rooms we would like to be having represented! I think that there was in the back of the first ed DMG an actual list of room types maybe if one of you gents could pull that up it would give us some seed ideas?

Brings back memories of when I ran it with my sons, several years back, now. I don't remember if they ever made it to the arena -- I don't think they did. Really a hoot to see this classic module come to life in 2.5D. Thanks for sharing!
By the way, we need to see in-game photo's as they are playing these tiles. No need to see the players (for privacy reasons), but we would love to see their mini's trekking through the tiles! Please??? Cheers!
