Holy @%$&!!! That is about a thousand different kinds of awesome. We just talked about a naval adventure for my game. You have inspired me to get started on the build.
Just awesome.

Cool ship. I'd outlaw gunpowder though if it was for D&D.

Years ago (back in the early 80's), we played a TSR module featuring a crashed, alien space ship, with Needle Guns, Blasters, and other SF weapons which we found, and began using -- after that, a +5 Holy Avenger Sword was pretty lame, and undesirable (as was every other fantasy sword, even a vorpal blade). I swore off all SF weapons, cross-overs, and even gunpowder, in my D&D games, as it radically changed things in a way we really did not enjoy (we all agreed we did not enjoy how it changed the game, so we set those characters, and those SF weapons, aside).
Apart from that, I can still appreciate your fantastic work! Thanks for sharing. The gunpowder doesn't interest me, but the rest certainly does! Cheers!

Great looking ship. Love the Harpoon. Also like how you wrap the edges of the cardboard. Nice clean look.

Cool ship. I'd outlaw gunpowder though if it was for D&D. This is a gift for a pirate. The lore and idealistic freedom speaks to him, so.... If it had been for an encounter I too would not incorporate gun and powder. also... none of the props are glued down.

I suppose one could also counter the "anti gunpowder stance" with a simple well the prates could just have a wizard casting lightning bolts and fireballs from the deck instead of cannon.

A Pirate Ship that the Flying Spaghetti Monster would be proud of!
That project is about 100 different types of awesome bundled into one package.

I could see building an entire campaign around a ship like this. Or at least a series of adventures within a campaign. I will absolutely be making a ship and stealing as much of your design as I can. Outstanding project.
