Ok so I am generally a lurker on most boards, but with my new smart phone that takes pretty good photos I have no excuse not to share anymore. These were my first tiles made using the 2.5D method, The Large building in the center is the Inn/Saloon. The L shaped one behind it is a blacksmith/clockwork shop. Stable large building to the right. The small two story building is a general store. The other small building can either be a residence or another shop. I was trying to go for an adobe look to the buildings hence the red clay floors and white walls. Craft Sticks used for most wood features and roofs. and the stone rectangles are for forges and fireplaces that I have not made yet out of air dry clay. The cacti were made from model magic clay with toothpick armatures. Figures are a mix of reaper, mage knight, and privateer press. The game never made it off the ground but I can still use these for other games in the future as I wait for my turn to DM for my group. Desert Village

Beautiful models. If you want to use pre-made cacti, check with some cake decorating places. I purchased a bundle of the type with the round 'leaves' butt-joined together, for very little money. Apply a coat of The Dip (Tudor/black color) + matte clear coat, base, and done. Just a suggestion if you need more/different cacti, and you don't want to sculpt each one. The cake decorator types are around 3 inches tall and wide, and they will work for multiple figure scales.
The rest of the stuff looks great, as well. They'll all make a fun, gorgeous table for your players. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
