Just wanted to show off my take on a torch. I went to the craft store today with the express intent to make some torches. Wasn't really sure what I was gonna do, but after some looking around I came up with this. I picked up some washers, these pegs and a few Qtips that I already had. Took a little hot glue and put the peg on the washer. Then I painted them flat black, clipped the ends off the Qtip and hot glued the ends to the top of the peg. I formed the cotton end of the Qtip as close to flames as I could and then covered that with hot glue. And I finished it off with the wood door paint scheme and the fire scheme... (see thedmg and DMScotty videos for more info on the paint jobs)... Here is how they turned out. I did a total of 12 torches.

I like the shape of the flames. Are you going to paint the bases as metal?

I like the shape of the flames. Are you going to paint the bases as metal? Didn't plan on it... Figured I would keep it looking like wood.
