I saw that the previous pictures I posted were very small. I think it was because I tried to post them from my phone. Here is some larger and more thorough pictures for those who'd like to see how it all works. It's a very versatile set for having relatively few types of pieces. I hope this can dispel the idea that something ends up being square if it's made of modular pieces. Happy crafting. And thank you for the support and kind words.

I used foamboard. However, I'm sure you could use cardboard and cover it in tissue and glue to get a similar effect. I'll post a small video in this thread tomorrow explaining the template. It's deceptively simple. :^)
