I made a few driders from some Mageknight minis and some plastic toy spiders. They came out surprisingly well, but I don't have a photo of one.

Cool! I've made some similar using Warhammer goblin spider riders for the spider half and elf torsos/heads for the elf part. These Warhammer spiders are some of the "evilest" sculpted spiders and cheap too from ebay. The seller was like "hoard o' bits". The guy sells all kinds of pieces like heads, weapons, spiders...great for conversions and kit bashings.
