I had guessed that we already have a thread discussing gift wrappings, but I couldn't find any. Some of my roleplaying friends will get a little xmas/new year's present. Pictures from our gaming sessions, handouts from our campaigns, background music (mp3), etc... in short: Digital stuff. I bought 2 GB Micro-SD cards (plus an SD adapter) and put all files on the cards. Now digital presents are quite hard to wrap. First I thought of making some mini-books DMG-style and add a small secret compartment for the tiny memory card, but I didn't have the time (the party is today...). So here's what I came up with instead: Scrolls. I made a table of the contents, printed it and aged it as per Scotty's tutorial. Whiteglue * a kebab skewers and two wooden beads on each end of the scroll, use adhesive tape (not strong ones!) to tape the card on the inner side of the scroll, roll it all together and tie it up - and you're done. * ...is that actually a verb? i.imgur.com/Ik9cgjF.jpgi.imgur.com/cmqG23c.jpgMaking two scrolls took me about 30 minutes, writing the table of contents included. Making more would considerably reduce the time per scroll needed. What gift wrappings have you done? Please share your ideas!
