So the poor Puzzle Thread has only a few puzzle topics. Granted they're really great puzzles, but I felt that another topic couldn't hurt, and then I thought, "Why not make a thread about riddles?"
And why not? Riddles are great puzzle starters. And quite a few can be inspiration for some really great craft pieces. Consider this riddle as an example:
"Look into my left eye, tell me what do I see? Yet I speak not of my right eye. What visions doth it see?"
Note, I'm still trying to figure this one out (I suspect it's time related for some reason).
But I can see this being used in conjunction with a large craft piece, like a statue, with maybe some clues in the room.
So here I encourage others to Tell us their riddles, perhaps give us the answers (unless you wish to be confounding. I get it, it's really fun. We'll jusy have to guess the answers...), and maybe give us some ideas on how you might incorperate the riddle into your craft.
Let the Riddling Begin!

Who makes it, uses it not. Who buys it, wants it not. Who uses it, can neither see nor breath.
Answer - A coffin.

For a thread like this, you really need spoiler tags...
Flies without wings Bites without teeth Points without fingers Whistles without breath Strikes without warning Kills without thought

Maybe we should do a friendly riddle competition: Rules: 1. Thou shalt be fair in thy play 2. Thou who has got the answer fastest shall post it alongest a new riddle seems fair anyone want to start with one?

I thought of making this a competition originally, but for especially tricky riddles it could be a long time (and several dozen posts) for people to guess correctly, which can cause confusion in the thread about which answer goes to which riddle. The possibility of creating such confusion kept me from making it into a contest, even though it wod be a really awesome and productive idea if it could be made to work sans confusion.
Adamantinedragon, my guess would be wind, except wind doesn't point without a weathervane, and it doesn't strike as far as I know. It can kill in certain situations though (tornadoes, frozen climes, precarious ledges and gust wints...)
