I wanted to add some pîzazz to an encounter and introduce an NPC who will be with them awhile. He is a castaway, hence the tree house built from ruins of a fishing village.
The model was built from 2wire coat hangars, 3 toilet paper rolls, masking tape, wire branches from a fake tree, popsicle sticks and green fabric for the foliage.

Yeah it should be fun encounter. The stockade/treehouse that the NPC gnome castaway lives in will be under attack when the PCs arrive by ghouls. The gnome who lives there is a siege weapons expert and wizard. So there will be not only ghouls but the PCs will have to deal with how all sorts of shenanigans that the gnome has rigged up. Not to mention what holds a gnome in a treehouse does not necessarily hold several medium sized PCs and the ghouls.
