This thread is going to have pictures of my many terrain builds. These first pictures are a winter castle I been working on for a couple days. I am going to do more for the tower and make it taller and winding with a staircase that goes around. I plan on making the round tower at least 2 more feet high. Its already pretty darn big, over 2 feet wide and 25 inches to the top of the tower as it stands now. The gate is not done which is why it has no snow, I am going to paint it some more and then make it openable like a portcullis should be. The inside is also not done, these are earlier pictures of how it used to look, iv since added some more dry brushing and created more accessories but no pics of those yet.

Awwsome stuff, all! What I loved to see most were the pillars, not because they were the best but because that gave me another great reference for the pillars I need for my dwarven mine terrain set. Great timing! Your treasure tiles look very cool, but they look too 'new' - a thin black or dark brown wash over the golden glitter works wonders and makesit look much more realistic. I did a large dragon hoard some time ago (see here) and that wash was making the whole thing damn near perfect, even if the pics don't really show it. I'm right now making new treasure tiles for my son, and I'll share pics showing the difference before/after the wash.

You did a WONDERFUL job giving the ruins an overgrown look. The vines are particularly striking. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Wow, another awesome terrain set! The speed at which you churn out those sets is impressing!
How did you do the vines, what kind of material is that? Looks great!

It's a kind of moss that grows as long strands along logs and tree trunks. People harvest it for the floral trade, and the craft stores with fake flowers and related materials often sell it. I don't know if it's available in Europe.

Thanks for the comments all! I can do a picture of the bag of moss if you want tauster, I got it at either Hobby Lobby or Michaels, and it was discounted. I think even wal mart has them at some stores. Its called proflora spanish moss. Its basically this stuff but dyed green I believe: www.hobbylobby.com/Floral-Wedding/Containers-Fillers/Fillers/Natural-Spanish-Moss---8-Ounces/p/3534Here's my newest invention, a snow ziggurat that is not done yet. I would have done a lot more crafting but our power went out for 16 hours (on my last day off too bah!). I painted most of this by flashlight, heh.
