Not only are your prints amazing, but your paint work is awesome as well. The farms are so clever, great job!

Hey Curufin, I just bought your Hero's Hoard Tree stump set. I opened up one of the stl in cura and it like fills the entire build plate, with 96 hour print time lol.
What should I scale these down to? What did you scale yours down to in the photo you took demonstrating them?

I think I scaled it down until it was roughly 100mm tall.

What's the preferred method again for glueing Heroe's Hoard accessories? e.g. tavern pieces, torture chamber accessories? Was it loc tite super glue? Do you ever use e6000?
For woodgrain accessories you print black, then do espresso, burnt umber then fawn? If I recall correctly. About to assemble and paint a torture chamber set now.

For the wood, I print in whatever color I have, then spray paint flat black. Burnt umber, cocoa, then fawn.

Thank you. I have those colors. I don't have any Gorilla Super Glue right now, just the loc-tite. Is the Gorilla Super Glue better? Are they less likely to come apart?

Word of warning on all types of Super Glues... None of them have any shear strength. While they all have tremendous pull-apart (tensile?) strength, none of them have any resistance to twisting the parts glued, apart.
The strongest 'glue' I've found thus far, is 2-part epoxy. It has high tensile strength, as well as very good shear strength. The 5-minute formulas are about the best for modeling applications. Epoxies generally work with most materials [almost nothing works on the polyethylene(?) plastic which Army Men figures are made out of]. Cheers!
