Wow... 'Awesome!!!' doesn't even begin to do it justice. You've come such a long way from playing around with your 3D printer to selling stuff that rivals the best. Hats off!

Awesome job as always. Looks like I have more money to spend. I think I really might need to get myself another printer just to keep up =)

Like the structures. In fact they are infinitely better than the Printable Scenery structures -- I mean look at that insanely gorgeous detail you've done! You have the most gorgeous structures one can print.. Heck they blow away 4Ground stuff and other expensive ones sold from molds!
Looking forward to ruined versions of these structures for Frostgrave/wargaming terrain.

I don't think that emote meant what you think it does - unless you actually meant to show disdain and be-little the work.. but your second sentence seems to contradict that

As usual they look fantastic! Maybe it's an idea to make some sort of mechanism to click them together instead of gluing? That way they would require much less storage space.

For those of us without a 3D printer, have you considered offering them through printing services such as Shapeways? I am very particular about what I would print, and use, on my tabletop. Because of this, I cannot justify a 3D printer for myself. Also, I have no desire to get into 3D modeling myself. Having said that, I have purchased models from Shapeways, and I will do so again, in the future. Offering the STL files is fine for those who have a 3D printer in their homes, but for those of us who do not... We are stuck here, out in the cold. Just sayin'... Cheers!

Sgtslag, printer is only $250 as of late And I see a large number of households owning them in the near future. I've already paid for the printer in savings around the house and on the gaming table.

Agreed. Decent printers are getting cheap. I just got one for my son for xmas. It is worth investing in one.

Price is really only one concern, the 3d printers are not really plug & play yet - nor maintenance free. Until it becomes an appliance in truth I don't think 3d printers will become mainstream

Yeah, that's true, they certainly aren't maintenance free. I had to learn a lot of things to maintain / modify it. I learned on forums, watched youtube videos, googled etc.

Slag, I looked into Shapeways as a print service, but the amount they charge for a single model is ridicules (even if I offer it for free). A single Truetile (field tile with no walls) was quoted at $22USD plus shipping. I just couldn't get on board with that. Local libraries, universities, and maker spaces would be a far far cheaper route to take.
Guppy, I disagree. I think 3D printers/printing is already making great strides in that direction. Printers are already a quarter the cost and can output twice the quality as printers from 2 years ago. They have gotten quite affordable and they will likely keep coming down in price. I bet in 5 years 3d printers will not be uncommon in most homes. You are right, they aren't maintenance free, but few things are these days. We live in a world of throw-away technology.

I knew Shapeways was making bank, but that is ridiculous! Ouch!!! I paid them $20 for a WW I airplane model, low res, cheapest version I could get. I thought it was a bit much, but I still feel it was worth it -- this plane model could not be made in metal, as it would weigh close to 1 lb., and I needed to mount it on a thin wooden dowel!
Thanks for sharing the information. I appreciate knowing that it is impractical for some things, with what Shapeways charges. In their defense, Shapeways uses very high-end printers, costing many times what the home printers sell for. Still, it does seem like Shapeways' days may be numbered... Cheers!

No, shipping was extra. I ordered two planes, the second was about half the size of the first one, but together, they weighed very little. I believe S/H charges were around $7, and the 2nd plane model was around $12? It's been several years since I ordered. Cheers!
