I suffer from depression. Fortunately I take medications that help with it. When I craft, or paint my miniatures it allows me to focus on something pleasurable. While I can't do it all the time, it helps a great deal. I'm trying to follow a friend of mine's advice: "paint one hour a day." I find I look forward to working on some projects that have gotten bogged down too. Because I'm a parent, I have to split my time between many things as most parents do. The wonderful thing is my kids are fascinated with whatever I'm working on! I think they have also found that MMORPGs also help cope with depression (but I may be wrong).

Hobby? This is a Hobby? I thought this was a way of life since I found DmScotty! Seriously though, this has completely transformed the way I design, build and run my campaigns! I have been playing since junior high, but until recently (the last couple of months) mine and my groups hiatus was about 15 years. I enjoy doing this more now than ever! Many thanks to DmScotty and everyone else here on this forum. I have never been very crafty in the past and now I'm not afraid to tackle just about any type of tile or terrain. After reading these posts here I feel very fortunate to have the health that I have. I feel like I know most of you personally and you have helped me gain confidence in my abilities to craft. Thank you all!
