After collecting and reading for far too long, finally got some minis to show. Washed up with a little hot glue, model railway ballast for flock and a ochre/sienna basecoat and a overly wet and heavy white dry brush. Will be revisiting the base to get it solidly coloured a darker grey and will be going over the currently black metal parts in silver once I get that paint. The winged skeletons are painted all black, going to stat those out as giant metal coated skeletons since they're missing rib cages and the wing design looks like Bubo so it's all metal. So including uniform MDF bases (13p each 2" circles) I've got 20 large sized (1x£1, with 12 left over of sculpts I didn't care for) giant skeletons for under £5. The bases ended up being more expensive than the plastic so I may want to look into a cheaper solution long term. Got this bad boy in a packet of 6 big dinosaurs on sale for £4.50 (25% off). Found the exact same product for £2.50 a few weeks later, alas... but... Was determined to find a cheap T-Rex solution after seeing that in the monster manual and realising that level 7 Warlocks can turn their level 8+ fellow adventurers into one. All in including the 3" base cost about £1.50! Still need to tart up a couple of details like the eyes and the base. Finally some rebased 2003 D&D minis and a first attempt at a DIY gelatinous cube. Got an army of animals, dinos and the entirety of the coop adventure system board games to paint still - as well as a lot of tid bits that need frankenstiened. I'll post 'em here as I progress through them.

Great job Love how they came out!!! Two questions? 1. Where did you get these lovely skeletons at since I have not seen these anywhere around? 2. Where do I get skeletons with wings??? Those are awesome and me want...Adventure brewing in mind as I type lol

Those are awesome and me want...Adventure brewing in mind as I type lol To answer both those questions: They were bought at poundland in the UK, for a short time some months ago. Their stock seems to vary regionally too, so some folks have been getting ~4" tall orc warriors that make perfect size huge giants but my best hauls have been size large dinos and these "Skull Knight // Knights from Hell" brand skeletons. farm9.staticflickr.com/8327/29258938750_5643eeeab7_b.jpgWhen I first saw them I hated the winged Skeletons but once I had the paint out realised they looked like something right off of a metal album cover and figured with an iron skin enchantment + magical wings they could be imposing as well as impractically badass looking. I see at least one pack on uk ebay but a lot more expensive than the £1 they were originally. EDIT: found another way you might track them down this guy www.littleweirdos.net/2016/08/the-bone-brigade-plastic-skeleton.html calls them "Oriental Trading Co. Skeleton Warriors" saying he's seen the sculpts show up a few times under different product banners.
