The shelves are fine, but the eye is drawn to the super books, potions, and scrolls... Very impressive modelling. Thanks for the eye porn. Cheers!

pretty much everything I make is a direct result of everyone else's inspiring work. I'll either out and out copy someone's work (longship and cavern tiles by black magic craft) or take bits and pieces people's crafts and put them together. I seen the scroll idea from Jennifer I think? and open books and the shelves from dmg. So thanks to all the super creative folks who take the time to design, build, craft and post their work.

That is some awesome and inspiring work. Bookshelves, books/scrolls, and potion bottles have been added to my list of things I need to build. The list is getting longer than the time I have for crafting. I think my next night's off will be spent hiding in my crafting corner....

I assume part of the bottle lid is a small bead. Anything else? The books and shelves look fantastic!

I assume part of the bottle lid is a small bead. Anything else? The books and shelves look fantastic! actually they are head pins from Michael's craft store. The pin is cut to length and hot glued into beads. (I think they were called head pins.) If I can find the box I'll post a pic.

I agree with the other poster, the tops of those bottles/vials really sell the piece!! Gonna have to copy that amazing idea!!
My only constructive criticism would be to make the books more sporadic in their placing on the shelves, maybe add some tiny spine work like dashes or the like to break up the monotony.

Thanks DrunkMike. Yeah after seeing the pictures I added marks to some of the spines. I got the idea for the bottles from another poster on the forum. I got the bottle top idea from browsing through Michael's craft store. I am currently making more shelves so there will be a variety.
