I just wanted to say hello and thank you for being so inspirational - especially DM Scotty & DMG.
To make a long story short, my son & his friends wanted to play Pathfinder. Their regular DM is busy, so I volunteered knowing absolutely nothing about any of this - that was a couple of months ago - I have learned a little. I found the DMG & DM Scotty's videos and shared those with my husband, who started gathering the tools/supplies from various places in our house & garage.
Now, the whole group (there are 6 of them) is making stuff for their characters, coming up with terrain ideas that they want to play on, and collecting the supplies from their respective work environments like cardboard, plastic liners, tubing, etc. They are really excited to play and working very hard to have their characters save up enough GP in their quests "to buy the stuff" they have crafted.
I should also say that my kitties love your ideas, too, as the materials are periodically swiped from the craft stations and used for entertainment purposes. Thankfully, they only inspect the finished projects since they can't really carry them off.
As soon as I figure out how to store and post pictures of what the group has done, I will.

You can find information on posting pictures to the forum at: dmscraft.proboards.com/thread/2351/photoThat thread is under the DM's Craft Forum Help category, second on the list on the Home page Exact details on getting your images onto an image-storing site are site-specific, but there is some info on that thread about uploading to Photobucket.

Thank you, Margaret. My husband is going to pick one and upload the photos for me when he gets home from work. He is way better at using apps on my phone than I am...lol.
