My name is Jay and I created this tread because I was so Inspired by DM Scotty, and all his work. I want to share with you guys a few things I have created and been working on.
This was my First attempt at creating a Modular Dungeon. This was created using Insulating Sheathing, and just carving in details.
This is my version of the Purple Worm. I created this with the Glue and Paper towel Technique. The Head is from an old Tiki Torch same as the teeth. Inside the mouth is a plastic ball cut in half and used as the back of the mouth.
These little guys were created just by using Hot glue and melting it which formed perfectly for a Reaper rising from the Blood. When the glue was soft I had some skeleton pieces that I then attached.
This is a slug like creature I decided to create almost like the purple worm with the scales on its back. I used the glue and paper towel technique, but instead of using the paper towel roll i used tin foil for the shape.
This is my Tree Golem kind of looks like Grut from Guardian of the Galaxy. Again using the Glue and Paper towels for Body. The head is an old Transformer bobble head that I glued upside down for a better effect.
These 2 guys I created one evening after contemplating on what to really create. The snake is made from Tin foil, and the Glue/Paper towel technique. The fire elemental is and old toy. I removed the legs and added hot glue to make it look more like a fire elemental creature.
The guys were talking about having a rock Golem, but not regular size so I came up with this guy. He is made strictly from foam insulation
This is another modular dungeon system, but takes place in a old magical mine. I followed DM Scotty's 2.5d method for this one. I am still thinking of adding more rooms, but not sure yet. The water is just paint and hot glue. The spider nest are tinfoil, and the eggs are beads painted white with cotton glued as webs.
My attempt at creating some blood worms. They are made from dowels that are attached to a washer then glued to cardboard. I then used caulking for the bodies, and tooth picks for teeth. I applied some hot glue on the bodies for texture and detail, and wood chips for some effects.
