That looks very tight. Well done. How durable do you reckon this will be? I can imagine the cardboard getting slightly bend each time you pull it out. Or did you leave some room around the inserts?

It has proven extremely durable. None of the cardboard bends. Notice, since there are two axes of control, the inserts cannot possibly bend. Truth be told, they arent done yet. The dividers need to be glued in place, and I will attach cleats to help pull it out. You can see these on the topmost insert with all the scenery.

Why are you not closer to game with, your dungeons must be epic, those are really cool. The other thing that could be done is glue some ribbin one the bottom and have it come up over the side, so you can pull straight up and have the trays come out

Thanks much. Will do. Tell ya what...two episodes from now, this will be all yours (and everyone else's)...a full, complete, original, free module PDF to download, to accompany the Vid. It will be a dungeon crawl for 5th level characters, heavy on puzzles and traps. Don't let the compact design fool you. It has been through playtesting. Even before corrections, my players unanimously said it was the best session that I had ever run. So I figure, worth sharing. Anyway, all of these tiles fit in the above storage racks. In fact, there were only 7 or 8 left in the racks after this was put together. Again, this beast will be fully fleshed out in two episodes.

That looks very convenient. Have you considered making them into drawers (i.e. cardboard drawers)?

i also started seeking other methods and found out that toolboxes with handles and wheels can get you very far if you are a travelling DM like i am !

agreed and thats what i use. but it too cumbersome to travel with. i look like im moving out of my home every times. this being that my box is actually quite big. the bigger the box gets the harder it is to move it. thats why im looking for something better when travelling a lot.

Something else that might be interesting are pistol/rifle cases. The metal ones look impressive and, well, a lot of people already use them for minis
