Thanks! Originally all 14 of the horses I bought were turned into the standard alive style horses until I realized you can never go wrong with a dead/mutilated horse on a long road to get your players attention. So two had to make the sacrifice for the better of party interest.

I bought them from a store about 30 minutes away called U.S. Toys. I'll find time and take a picture of one of those horses next several other horse miniatures to give a good scale comparison. Here is the bag I bought that the horses from my pictures came from. BONUS: While finding that link, I found another product of their's that I now must have. It has 104 pieces for $10 of various animals with a few of those being those same horses from the first link. I'd say that since the 104 bag has the same horses, they serve as a good scale comparison to the other animals included in that package.

Howdy,
That is great! I can't wait to see the encounter wherein the party is set upon by a giant chicken, giant turkey, and massive harbor seal.
Kev!

Howdy, That is great! I can't wait to see the encounter wherein the party is set upon by a giant chicken, giant turkey, and massive harbor seal. Kev! What a great 1st lvl adventure idea! The eccentric town wizard is spring cleaning! To make room for new experiments, he is dumping all of his potions in the garbage that are past their "use by" date. His apprentice unceremoniously tosses the trash outside the wizard tower breaking several potion vials in the process, including potions of growth/enlarge, bull's strength, cause fear, and mage armor. The strange expired concoction soaks into a loaf of stale bread that was conveniently left in the trash. Some of the local chickens from town get into the trash and eat the bread, and transform into giant chickens that are incredibly strong and scare those that get to close. This new super brood of chickens, including a couple of hens and one extremely territorial rooster find their way into the towns granary and begin eating all of the food. The rooster can easily fend off the inept local militia. The townsfolk are outraged that a handful of chickens are eating all of their food and they cant do anything about it. To make matters worse, the townsfolk seem to be divided: half want to just kill the chickens to save the granary stock ( not to mention get hundreds of pounds of chicken meat to cook) and the other half want to figure out how to capture them, as a single giant chicken egg will feed 10 people. ....enter the heroes. dragon722, I have one that I got off an orange juice container....though I don't remember which brand it was. They really have a great design.

Alright what beverage container did your statue bases come from? I have been looking all over the place in the stores for them with no success . Can anyone turn me in the right direction? They are Tropicana orange juice bottles. The ones pictured are from the personal bottles, but they do have bigger ones on the family size bottles. Minute Made has caps that are more square (less gothic). Side Note: The Tropicana personal size bottles fit on a paper towel roll perfectly. Almost don't even require glue.

Truly awesome results there.
Where did you get the small statue of the Archangel Micheal? I've never seen that particular sculpt in anything smaller than 18 inches tall.

As to the statue, I actually found 10 of them at an antique store nearby. I only purchased the two as I knew I wanted one in gold and one in stone (plus they were $4 a piece).
