not a 40K "player" anymore , but i do build some of their models again from time to time and enjoy looking at them . i think the flat hings and body are better looking to me than the original model , but i think i would have added in a real model for the pilot , and some scratch build guns and maybe a few other bits to give some of the parts a more 3D tretament .

I was going to say I liked the Monolith much more, but I keep going back and looking at how nice these came out. They're so clean and threatening at the same time. I look forward to seeing what you do when your bits start pouring in.
I'm an old Necron player. When I say old, I mean my first army was run from rules out of White Dwarf and we had only four of five models to choose from. There were no plastic figures for us. We also had to walk to school in ten feet of snow, uphill, both ways. We eat dirt for breakfast, and we liked it.
Sorry, Old Man Michka got a little out of hand there. Anyway, I wish I had thought of using papercraft for vehicles when I was playing 40K. It's always fun to bring something new to the table.

I agree The Good Stuff is Expensive Others Are Reasonable / Or I have Come to Except the cost as is, But the Best way to Save is to purchase from ebay My space wolves came from ebay cheap then I stripped them down and rebuilt them with leftover bits from a tactical squad and I can truly call them mine as unique as they are! The Necron Army that I'm Building Is relatively cheap a Box of 12 Warriors and 3 Scarab swarms cost me 26 dollars with shipping From Ebay. The Unit of Immortals was 24 Dollars free Shipping from ebay so with a little hunting I've Been Able to Slowly Grow My Army And Save as Much as Possible and By Building Vehicles like The monolith and Scythes I can invest that money into my troops.

I'll Have bits left over after I Build The Immortals I just Ordered , There was no Bits left over after building my Warriors. I've looked at a lot of the old models They are cool! but I like the look of the newer models, I really Like they story behind the Necrons and all the Fluff and Plan to Collect all the Models at Some Point at least all the independent Characters.
