Howdy all...For this round of "what-ah'm-doing" I present Fountain-palooza. I had a few lesson's learned here, but two main ones... 1. Always check for wisps. 2. Don't rush it (no matter how excited you are about the project...) There are four pictures to show and if you don't see four pictures then click the "All Photos" button. Don't know how or why G+ is picking some as "Highlights". Without further explanation, I present Fountain-palooza. Cheers, MM

Those look really cool. I love the water spout's sandstone look on the second one, and you got color and texture of the water just right in all of them.

Cool work.... love the last one... Is it only glue running down or is ther still cardboard behind it ? Thanks everyone! I had a good time with these. Now I'm looking for what to do next simply because there is so much! I've been binge watching the videos and making a list of materials. mrbulow It has cardboard behind it. At first I thought of using thread and dipping it in glue to build up the glue layers but it got to be annoyingly hard to control so I went back to what I knew. I still may try the thread technique but not without getting some heavier thread. The thin stuff was just too hard to work with. :-) Cheers, MM

Rolls on the random effect for drinking from dungeon fountain table. 1-4: No effect 5-90: Bloody flux 91-98: Bloody flux AND filth fever 99: Brain worms 100: Brain worms AND petrification My first ever character in any RPG was a Beron kin Ranger in the old MERP system. In the dungeon was a fountain. My poor ranger ended up with a black thumb (literally turned jet black) later it was learned that his touch with that thumb killed plants.
A ranger whose thumb kills plants. In a game whose lore was gardening and caring for nature = good and bad= caring not for growing thing.

Love the pedestal one especially as I am trying to pull off a fountain without a ton of excess space around the waters edge too. Did you attach the pouring water sections last after you had painted the rest?
