As a small aside, how thick is the gap between each of the tiles?

If you put it in a box with something to fill the negative space I think you'll be ok.
The board is reasonably light weight (wouldn't call it heavy, Wouldn't call it light for it's size either) and if you put on a few layers of clearcoat on it it's durable as heck. You can throw it across the room if you wanted to.
The gaps between the tiles are more or less 1mm. I measured the grid/gaps out at 1mm between tiles but as not all the tiles are exactly alike there's some give and take to them.

Well I finally got round to making the last few pieces. For your viewing pleasure, the fireplace, stone block traps(bronze plated for that extre Oomph!) and the chair. And so now our heroes can finally move into their dungeon. And there was much rejoycing...

EXALTED for sure. i wanted to buy the HQ games again, instead of making them. but considering the whole set is now like 300$ i'm like... wow wheres the thread for creating your own again ? and so you finish it up as i ask myself that.
thanks i'll be checking on this thread back so i can make my own too.
