I have done a couple of exchanges, both of the "pay it forward" and the "direct swap" variety. It is really funny how exciting it is to be waiting for the package to arrive in the mail... and THEN getting to open it on top of that. It's honestly a bit like Christmas as a little kid. And it's all over random junk!

We all have a very strange little hobby, but damn if it isn't one of the best! And this little corner of the internet is filled with some of the best people I have ever met in the virtual world.
I would handsdown do another exchange with the posters here. I don't think anybody I have sent stuff to has posted any of the evidence, but I promise that it's there!

I know this isn't what it is about, but I feel you got the short end of the stick on this one. There is no such thing as a short stick in Insider Trading. I got tons of great stuff that is fully useful to my crafts.... and have already given me some new inspiration... |

If you trade or get a package from Erasmas, you will not be disappointed. He sent me some glue from his vast store of glue (he is a glue resevoir) and I thought that's what I was only going to get. Foolish me. The small box I got was cramped with so many other cool goodies it really was like Christmas. I had a blast looking at what I had received.
Did I mention, Erasmas is cool?

About 15 years ago, I bought a three pack of Ral Partha Gargoyles, one of which had two wings that had to be glued on. Well almost immediately, one of the wings broke off and was lost to the ages. Well, also in this box that I received from Flankbonus, was a single, solitary Ral Partha Gargoyle wing....the very one that I lost all those years ago! Rock on! I think I lost the same wing! |

Anyone interested in 10" Cardboard Circles (will get exact measurements cuz I think they are either just under or just over)? I've got a case of the darned things I need to get rid of. I'm planning on keeping some to make some Platforms/Treevillages/UFOs, so I have about 100 I can give away. Just tell me how many you want.

Well finally found my pewter stash...decided that I'm going to try and facilitate Curufin's casting progress by letting him have all of it

Okay this one is weird. I am looking for any broken or unused christmas decoration stuff that was for those holiday setting things that ppl put up. Dickens Christmas I think one of the lines is called. Broken or chipped buildings basically anything of that nature. Even the odd snow covered pine tree would be cool. Anyone have anything like that lying around in some mouldy box in the attic?

More frost grave stuff, Sleepy? Indeed Senior Cloud! Indeed! Actually I have found myself in a small pickle. A gaming friend of mine had a fire in his house and his gaming room got destroyed! Thankfully no one got hurt and as some of you already know (Becuz I told you Lolol) I was looking for donations. As it turns out I ended up helping out a little too much out of my own pocket. Lol Any ways my point is he has very little in the way of supplies like you know crafting stuff we all take for granted. I gave him most of mine which was at one point rather significant but now depleted. So SInce I really can't afford to help anymore I was wondering if any of you boyos would like to pitch in. I bought him all his gaming books and I donated just about every mini I knew I could spare to his cause. Its the kiddos always the kiddos. Big eyes...whatever! Lolol So please look around and see what you can scrounge up. Thanx! |

Just got 2lbs of pewter from Draklith! His generosity is staggering. However, I feel like I just made a wish, Drak, as the dm, just twisted it. You know, like the time your character wished for 1 million gold pieces and it just fell out of the sky a crushed him to death, or that time you wished for a +5 vorpal sword and the Terrasque materialized in front of you with a +5 vorpal sword stuck in his back. Well, I just wished for pewter and Draklith sent me pewter miniatures! Not just scraps of spures or miniatures with no legs. No, he sent me 2 complete pewter dragons! And a very large third dragon that is only missing a head and wings! And some complete 25-28mm fantasy minis! I'm torn... on one hand this is a lot of pewter weight, and on the other.... how can I destroy these dragon minis. Im smack dab in the middle of a moral dilemma. Drak, if there is anything you need, just let me know! I owe you a big one! |
