Hello everyone, After watching DM Scotty's episode 44, I decided to make some pavilions as well as tents. Here's a quick "how to" in pictures. The finished product: The raw material was a Capri Sun refrigerator box. A roll of duct tape seemed like it had a good diameter (about 4"). I saw Belatucadras's technique for making cones out of disks in order to make evergreen trees and adapted it here. The first step is to cut a slit along the radius of the disk. See? A slit. Then figure out how to hot glue it. And it makes a nice cone. Then make the wall. A strip just over 12" long worked all right. Details on how to make the walls: The Capri Sun card stock is pretty stiff, so I "trained" a curve in it. About ready to glue the roof to the walls. Notes on "roof-gluing." Notes on simulating folds in the tent fabric. Note that if you make 8 glue lines from the apex to the top of the wall, you'll wind up with eight wedges, which makes alternating-and-non-repeating colors possible. Cut out a base so you can have a play space inside the pavilion. You'll need a border for the base. I used arrows to line everything up because nothing wound up being a perfect-enough circle. Groo outside the pavilion. Groo inside the pavilion. Maybe I'll make some cheese dip from Sculpey. Notes on making the pavilion's top cover. This is pretty much straight from DM Scotty's episode 44. Notes for making the wall cover. Pretty pavilions all in a row. Enjoy!

Looking good, and great tutorial! Thanks for doing the effort of writing instructions on paper/cardboard in the images, really makes it easy to understand.
