I don't like the ultra-matte finish of acrylic paint. Feels like sandpaper, and is vulnerable to scratching and rubbing over time.
So, I use a clear-coat, like Scotty shows in some of his vids. I use that medium gloss DuraCoat stuff from Michael's.
However, I have a large batch of tiles to finish. To save a ton of time, I am interested in a spray finish.
Does anyone use spray clear coat finish? Which brand(s) to use/avoid and why? Any nuances to consider when using spray instead of brush?

Unless some one else had a bad experience I just use the spray matte finish from Krylon, but to be honest it's because I get it at Wal-Mart. I'm all about cheap and easy (insert joke here)

I use the Krylon. Its nice. The only thing to know is that the spray gloss and matte clear coat is that it will darken the colors. The color it started as before the spray will be lighter. It always darkens it some for some reason.

I use a coat or 2 of Astonish wood floor polish either painted on or put through a cheap airbrush. Use this on everything from terrain to model kits for a nice clear gloss coat. And only costs £1 for 750ml bottle lasts ages.

I have tried several sealers and have settled on Mod Podge matte. It dries faster than any otherr I've tried. Stinks to high heaven though.
