What is the best glue to use on resin? I was using superglue, and end up in a argument with my husband. Used it before never had a problem with it Any suggestions?

I think super glue is the best choice for resin.

it's all in what works for you. Super glue works just fine, but plastic cement is probably stronger. I like super glue because its so much cheaper and easier to get.

The problem with Super Glue, is it has zero sheer strength. Take two pieces glued with Super Glue, then try twisting them at the join... Super Glue is phenomenally strong when it comes to pulling them directly apart. It's a mixed bag, IMO.
I would suggest using a two-part epoxy for resin, but that's just my opinion. Best of luck! Cheers!

Several glues should work. I am a fan of two part epoxies for serious glueing.

A lot of it tends to depend more upon what you're using it for.
Never use superglue on anything transparent that you want to keep transparent because it frosts it...which is actually rather good for some uses such as if you take a flat transparent sheet of plastic such as an old CD case cover, cut to shape for a lake, give it a thin layer of super glue on the back side and let dry, cue great looking frozen lake.
