I was running out of my last glue stick when I used a thin crayon to push the last bit out to finish. Has anyone used crayons while hot glueing?? I can see uses for browns and such along with red for blood streaks. Mainly wanted to know if anyone had tips or suggestion if it works or getting it to work correctly.

Interesting, my only concern would be cleaning the glue gun.

Maybe when someone is going to buy a new glue gun because their old one is not working right (but still semi-functional), they could experiment for us.

My wife says that she has seen a lot of people making art and whatnot on Pinterest with this method. But, from her understanding, it "ruins" to glue gun for using the normal way ever again. She says once you go crayon... you never go back.

cool art, pretty sure its not really pssible to do much with it when it comes to crafting. this thing looks more like paint splashing then anything else to me.

It's interesting for art, but not that good for longer term projects that need to be handled. Crayons are made of a rather cheap wax that deforms and comes apart exceedingly easy, which is why they work so well for coloring, but the same things make them difficult to actually make other things out of them...
Though they do work well for candles as well.

Just looks like a bunch of dripping, squirting melted wax to me.

That it almost what I was looking for.....only difference is, I need it to be mixed with glue, to make easy texture as water, hay and whatever. Has anyone seen that tecnique?

Just watched one of the Crayon/Glue Gun videos, and it was cool!!! This method may not work for DM Crafting, but it sure makes some interesting, very colorful artwork. I'll be keeping an eye out for cheap glue guns in the future.
