Nice work on the mini's. Very high quality paint work -- far better than I ever strive for. Looking forward to seeing your next video, with the bookshelves, and such. Bookshelves are such a needed, fun terrain piece. I've been envious of what folks here have crafted such, thus far, but I need something pre-painted/colored, quick, easy, and simple. Your prototypes look like they fit the bill! When did you say you would be releasing those?... Cheers!

When did you say you would be releasing those? It should be the next video - however, I'm still drawing the textures at the moment ...so it might take a while. Here's a quick W.I.P. that'll (hopefully) show you why it's taking so long: And, as you can see, the aim is to provide textures for a couple of different shelves ...and also have it so that you can make shelves/bookcases of any size (i.e. just cut a strip of the texture to the desired length, and away you go). So, you could make a bookcase that's 3" wide and 4 shelves high, or a shelves containing bottles that's 2" wide and 2 shelves high, and so on (possibly even combining the two* if you prefer). However, as I say, the amount of detail in these is making them rather time consuming - but I'll get there eventually. *or however many I end up doing.

Funnily enough, I did work in the quality control department of a furniture company for a couple months several years ago (not ikea though ). However, these should be easier to build.

Love the extra measurements that you added to allow for various sizes of shelves! Fantastic idea! Plus the way you planned out making all the parts is really great too!

Thanks, glad you like it. This one did take a bit of extra planning, but I really wanted to persevere with the whole 'textures' idea - rather than the usual papercraft method of just being able to build the one thing the artist/designer intended (if that makes sense). So, with any luck, folks should be able to build anything from small bedside cabinets to huge bookcases (or at least, that's the plan ).

kris , I have spell research rules which require large libraries, with plenty of books, for Mages to research magic! These are perfect! One PC has an old dungeon he converted to his own private living space, laboratory, and library. I've been thinking about running an attack on his place, with NPC's run by the players, with his defenses being used to destroy the would-be invaders. Thinking that the players could take on the roles of the NPC invaders, because they would not care if they died. Would be a fun, side-trek for everyone. I know the owning player would have fun with it, too. I would play this scenario out using BattleSystem Skirmish rules (circa 1992, 2e mini's game, with a thin veneer of RPG on top of the skirmish rules), which means, full-on mini's, and terrain. Your latest offerings would be perfect! Thank you! Cheers!

Sounds like a fun evening's play. If you do run it, and have chance to take pic's, I'd love to see the setup

...did you think about how to make buildings... Interiors* or exteriors? (not that it matters, as I have 'thought' about both and lots more besides ...it's just finding the time to get around to everything ) *I do have some wooden floor textures done, and I'll be incorporating them into an 'alternative floor textures' pdf at some point in the future.

Love the dungeon, cave, and space tiles! I haven't played Traveller since the early 80's, and I doubt I'll get back into it, but I would very much enjoy seeing your space tiles. The cave tiles are really superb, as well. I've gone with a modular, full 3D cave system, so they won't be something I'd use. Still, I enjoy seeing everything you produce, Kris. I wish you the very best! Cheers!

Thanks for all the kind words (it's great that folks are finding this stuff useful) Anyway, in that last video I said that I'll probably be taking a break from 'the dungeon' for a little while - but not before I release a few alternative floor patterns... (though this is just a sneak peek, and the final images might change slightly before release)

Thanks for all your postings. I hope you continue to check back in to the forums occasionally, even if you aren't showcasing any new works. All of your work is excellent, but the bookshelves will be really useful for me. It's great to have the option of printing and making a set that isn't just flat rectangles.

...even if you aren't showcasing any new works. Oh, I'm not going anywhere ...when I say I'm taking a break from 'the dungeon' - it just means I'll be moving on to caves or something similar (i.e. there's still lots more to come ).
