Here's some pictures of what I've been working on recently: hills and rocks for outdoor encounters. The rocks are made of... Actual Rocks! Painting rocks is one of the things I've been doing the longest and I like the way they turn out. Here's a grassy hill I made with some turf flock stuff I've had for a while. I'm not going to be able to make too many of these. As you can see with the mountain in the background these hills are made with foam insulation board. These next two are pretty much the same as the grassy hill just without the grass. I also cut them a little more sharply to make them look more mountainous. Next up is painting the behemoth of a mountain seen lurking in the pictures, it'll probably take up most of my crafting time for the next week.

Ooo, I like the ones with flocking. You get a nice chiseled look with the way you're cutting. I'd love to see how your final set up looks.

Those, are nice! They look general enough that you can reuse them in a variety of encounters. I've been working on outdoor terrain as well, was gonna post up a few pics for fun. These are nice pieces you got here, I like 'em!

insulating foam, its used in construction of houses to seal heat and cold outside. its not all that expansive if you consider how much you can do with a single board.
