Hello! My name is Miguel Aguilar Vives, i'm from Barcelona, Spain, and i am 25 years old. This friday i'm going to start my very first session as a Pathfinder DM, and googling up DIY videos, i stumbled onto DM Scotty's awesome purple worm. And well, as many of you probably did, kept digging into the videos, got myself a gluegun, some sticks and other stuff, and here i am! i would like to take this oportunity to greet all the fellow crafters of the community with a big HI! At the moment i am a jobless Carpenter/Cabinetmaker, so i've got my good share of time to craft! Anyhow, im sure we'll all have a great time, and thank you very much to everyone who is posting ideas and their own great crafts here! I'll be posting mine soon enough Thank you very much for your attention, Farewell!

Welcome! The carpenter experience could come in handy. I've always thought whether it would be best to make tiles out of wood. Hmm...

Welcome! The carpenter experience could come in handy. I've always thought whether it would be best to make tiles out of wood. Hmm... Depends what you want to use it for, we call white glue "carpenter's glue" here in spain, and if you can get yourself a piece of thin plywood it would be doable for a reasonable price, Many many carpenters throw away spare pieces of wood that could be used for our craft, wich turns it into a free resource aswell, Something good and bad at the same time about wood, is that it has pores, so it soaks up liquids better,(and if there's an excess it can bloat) but a varnish can solve that. If you want information about wood feel free to send me a message, i'll be glad to answer with what i know and help you with any doubts or ideas you, or any crafter that reads this might have

A fellow carpenter! Welcome! I think you will find there are tons of skills you can incorporate into crafting tiles. Good luck with your game!

Welcome! Your avatar is very interesting - what IS that?! lol Thanks! my avatar is a painting from Naoto hattori, a japanese Psychedelic artist, you can find his art here, www.wwwcomcom.com this painting he made is titled, "Communication" , found in "Gallery 2", been loving his art for quite some time XD i wish i could buy a painting from him eventually. i believe it represents the oposite of this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_wise_monkeys , the three separate monkeys in japan, one covering his eyes, another one covering his mouth, and another one covering his ears, as in saying, "Don't look, don't hear, don't speak", and the painting, being the direct oposite, is one single monkey with three heads, one with big ears (To hear better), another one with his hands projecting his voice (To speak louder), and a last one with his hands over his eyebrows, (To see further). Btw your avatar is great! it always makes me smile a bit when i see grumpy cat with the darth vader helmet xD
