Tossing this here quickly: I still need to make the roof portions for each of the sections. These are all geomorphs like the cave tiles that thedmg has made. These are 3x3 modular chunks with each small section 6.5cm square. The 3x3 section is 19.5cm square. The edges are either fully closed, fully open, or expect the center 6.5cm section to be open. The sides, when they are open, are 3.5cm. You can see on the right that the configuration can change, and that smaller buildings can be positioned to make larger ones.

Thanks! I had the purchased bushes left over from The Six Realms WIP Post that I did a while ago. Normally I use bits of sponge and scouring pad because they are so inexpensive. These were the cheap foam scenic bushes, and I soaked them in thinned out paint for some color variation and gave them a little touch up once they were placed. I may have some of the sponge based bushes posted somewhere. I'll link if I find them. Edit: I've been struggling with how to do this for a long while, and the cave geomorph style just really worked. Once I drew these out last week, I knew that it was going to work. I also find that about 9 tiles is the perfect minimum for these sets and variations, although more should be added. Of course, any single piece should be able to stand on its own as well. I also knew that I wanted to have roof options, and these segmented building sections will work for that, as each can have its own roof. It's not that I often run rooftop adventures, but when it happens, they will be a nice addition.

Uber-fantastic! In my games, I tell my thief players, "There are three highways for thieves: the rooftops, the streets, and the sewers... The rooftops are likely the safest: people rarely look up." I could see doing a set of these modular tiles for both rooftops, and building interiors. I love the modularity, and the flexibility. Wonderful idea! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
