The wall and basin were carved from Styrofoam, base coated black and then painted using DMScotty's sponge technique. The demons head was originally a small doll head that my cousin had cast in resin. i sanded the back flat, added horns sculpted from greenstuff and dry-brushed successive layers of gunmetal and gold to create the bronze appearance. The water in the basin was created by adding texture to a piece of card stock with a glue gun, painting the textured card stock and then gluing it into the basin. The water cascading from the mouth of the demon was created by dribbling hot glue into a bowl of water, then adding successive layers of hot glue for texture. The stream was then was painted, cut to the appropriate length, and glued into place. Front view Profile 3/4 View

Great job! I like how it's shaped so it can fit into a corner.

That's better Your fountain looks really good. The way you've crafted the water pouring into the basin is particularly realistic.

Very cool, it displays a wide variety of crafting skills and has a very high utility, being able to place free standing or set into a corner. Really nice. I can see this being imitated a lot.

It looks kind of cherubic. Never trust a chubby horned baby! I like the trajectory of the water - it makes it seem like the demon is power chucking the water.

I like the hot glue/water technique. I was thinking of using that technique for something else, but didn't know how well it would work. Now I know! It's great! The water effect is beautiful and the whole piece looks very realistic. Bravo! I have to say, though; I'm with Cyan Wisp on this one! It looks kind of cherubic. Never trust a chubby horned baby! I like the trajectory of the water - it makes it seem like the demon is power chucking the water.

I thought about making it a blood fountain, but I went with water for my first attempt. I still have four of those doll heads that my cousin cast, so maybe a blood fountain will be next.
