Hi guys! As some of you may know, I started a thread about 2 weeks ago to show you my creations but with some story telling. Here is the first thread for those of you who would like to read it: dmscraft.proboards.com/thread/1758/story-line-first-crafts
Again, I hope this becomes a trend in which you guys will tell your story! Here it goes.
After Kazzak was defeated (but not killed), our heroes would meet with someone they have been searching for quite a while now: the mysterious writer Tomaniel. Here is a bit of backstory. The group learned that the prime god, the Creator, is trying to undo his universe since he was betrayed by its own creations, the gods. This seems to be linked to some books written by the false prophet, Tomaniel. The group met a cursed silver dragon named Jrutrakam'shum from the east that has one of those books and it seems to be crazy because of this book. The party is trying to get rid of this dragon and they finally learned that this Tomaniel, who seems to know a lot about almost everything, is right in their town, hiding in plain sight. After talking to him, they learn how to get rid of Jrutrakam'shum from Tomaniel (who wants to get rid of him too).
The group then leaves to a location where they know there is the corpse of an ancient black dragon. They need the bones to make dragonslaying arrows so they can kill Jrutrakam'shum. The area is highly populated by goblins, trolls and other abomination of nature born from the ancient power of the dragon.
After they get into the big swamp, they soon encounter a small goblin camp that seems occupied by only 2 of them. The group wants to bypass them but gets ambushed by the other goblins and their shaman, which saw them coming (hello heavy armor penalty!).

After a quick fight, they go on and finally finds a river. Wanting to cross it, they get ambushed by trolls. The fight is a really tough one as many group members drops unconscious, gets healed and fight on. They finally manage to kill them all.

As some of them fell to 0 hp, they suffered from mortal wounds (in my game, players get wounds for dropping to 0 hp, impairing them in different and nasty ways). They decided to take 24h to heal from the wounds. Leomund's tiny hut saves the day as it can be concealed, letting the group avoid 3 more troll patrols during the day. When they get to the mountain where the dragon corpse is on the other day, they finally find the entrance which is submerged in an acid water lake. As they approach the water, nature itself attacks, turning 2 tress into ropers!

Half of the group fights while restrained but they again manage to destroy the threat.
After a short rest, they get into the ancient lair which is currently inhabited by a small group of goblins. Unfortunatly for them, the shamans animate the ancent bones with the "Animate object" spell so they fight the bones of the ancient beast while being sniped at from the dark inside the cave!
